I find that when I use the voice command for a search it goes directly to , in my case, Amazon Prime,
Paramount + , Hulu, etc. The exact same thing happens, for me with the TV Mate.
I am using a FS 4KMax.

Oh, I tested the search in the Sparkle app. I never had a problem with searching in any other app or my Shield.

Does anyone know if the Sparkle TV player has a audio offset function (like Tivimate) to correct audio sync issues?

Most devices have an audio sync function in the settings.

The OP was referring to the Sparkle TV app. I see what you are referring to. Yes, there is an Audio video sync setting in the Shield Pro Advanced Sound Settings.

Tivimate has an Audio Offset setting, a stereo on/off, surround sound, and an Audio Decoder setting.

The Sparkle TV app only has one audio setting feature.

Yeah, I understand. I was thinking he was looking for audio settings located within the Sparkle TV app itself like what Tivimate has.

Yup. But as it doesnā€™t seem to have it, thatā€™s why I suggested the master setting, more for test purposes than anything else. The Sparkle Dev, I understand, is very open to suggestions and this is a vital feature for any good player imho.

Sparkle has a good start, but it has a long way to go to catchup with Tivimate. The main thing that keeps my interest is the developer seems to be very active in trying to improve and remedy issues for his subscribers. The Tivimate developer seems to be taking a sabbatical?

Very true. I tried joining the TiViMate discord but they are a rather rude lot, so I donā€™t go there anymore. Iā€™ve never gotten an answer from the Dev to be honest.

LOL! I agree wholeheartedly. I joined their Discord and Reddit groups, and there are a lot of condescending egos present. I ask or help when I think I have a solution, but I block all the idiots who are only interested in slamming someoneā€™s post or question.

I have been a member of the Sparkle Discord for a while, and have been impressed with the upkeep and ambition of the developer. While it isnā€™t Tivimate (nothing out there is), I quite honestly think its look and functionality are super refreshing and modern and it is my 2nd favorite player I have ever tried. I decided to get lifetime to use on my travel devices and extra devices around the house. It seems very snappy while navigating on the app too. I am very impressed.

Yeah, I like it and I like that the developer seems to be very active.

Tivimate is still my daily driver, but I do see great potential in the Sparkle player. I check in on the reddit and Discord groups regularly.

However, I havenā€™t seen any new updates in a while.

Hey, could you check your Sparkle app and see how much storage and data it takes up. Mine is grazing on a farm acre of over 2GB of space.
