I just added it to my Shield and it works like a charm.
I am using SS at the moment and Stube works ok. I do get an issue every so often that will stop a video while in progress after several hours, but that is a random issue and not certain of the culprit.
However, as soon as my SS sub expires in a few months, I will not be renewing it.
I have been using stube with SS (using wire guard) for a long time now and it works great for me. An occasional hiccup when YouTube makes a change but then a stube update usually comes out soon after and itâs fixed again.
Iâve done that. Still nothing.
Pardon me if I missed it somewhere but, Smarttube works fine with your VPN off but doesnât work when the VPN is on?
On my laptop should I use Smarttube, Revanced, or Newpipe to get rid of ads on YouTube? Thank you
Use
On my laptop I use both the Adguard and AdBlock Chrome Extensions and I donât get any ads. I use Youtube daily
Thank you for that info. Much appreciated
Thank you for that info. I have heard about Brave Browser. Am I able to use this along with Microsoft Edge or do I have to delete Edge?
It can be used without the need to delete any other browser
Not meaning to threadjack, but as an FYI - I use both Brave and Floorp browsers and they work superb. No need to delete Edge, I just dont use it.
Thank you for the clarification
I am having the same problem. SS wonât work when my vpn is on. I wonder why?
When you say SSâŚwhat does that stand for?
SS = SurfShark VPN
YeahâŚThank @Masterofmydomain âŚI know what it means to me⌠âŚi was just curious as to what it meant to @Bearclaws because of what he saidâŚ
I am thinking he meant to say SmartTube doesnât work when his VPN is on.
Thatâs not good!
It would really help if you could be bit more specific. i.e. SmartTube doesnât open up, it all goes blank, it doesnât find any threads, did work fine then stop working, etc.
Just as a first suggestion, does SmartTube work fine with the VPN off?
Ive also noticed lately that if I try to launch any video on YouTube with my VPN on (even the Surf Shark browser extension) You tube demands you log in to view now. No thanks to that.
