Hey guys first time I’ve noticed this. I sideloaded some apps for a friends fire stick and signed out. Now when he signed in the apps are not showing in the apps section but they are still there in the settings under managed installed apps. I opened them from there and they are still not showing in the apps section. Is this some new trick by Amazon? Any fix?
Did you switch off unload apps in settings

I’ve seen this too, recently. On one occasion, just leaving the stick plugged in for a day resolved the issue.

There supposed to be visible after you open them again.
Yes, that’s how it used to be but recently it’s taken a lot more time for them to come up for some reason.
I have 4K Max’s and cube and haven’t noticed any problem since they first did that. Maybe they need to turn off load apps off
What ive noticed is that the icon doesn’t show at times but above the grayed box, the name of the app is there. If this is your issue just click the grayed box and the app will open as it normally does. Hope this helps
i think you have to uninstall/reinstall then it should work fine.
also go to settings and synchronise the stick
