I just re-upped my syncler+ yesterday but it’s been giving me issues recently and I’ve had it for 2+ years. I also have Weyd which I just bought to test and try like I do IPTV services. Anyway Troypoint had a Weyd tutorial a year and a half ago but I’m wondering why it is never mentioned anymore? I gave Kodi on lock down w/rd, trakt, Orion etc. And I’ve noticed a lot of people that were done with Kodi are going back which is smart because Kodi has to be 200% better than 5 years ago.
I like having an inexpensive movie/tv show APK that has regular updates and individual provider packages. They just seem to be easier. So the question is, should I check out Nova, Ocean Steamz, Film Plus or what? I may be overthinking it. Who knows.
Th apps you are talking about such as film plus and (my choice)Cinema are hit and miss and no support really offered and if downloaded from the wrong place can wreck your system but other than that are fun to try and great when they work. What I do is keep another box(android) and all I put on it is sideloaded apk’s like you mentioned. Reason I do is just to protect my main box(Nvidea Shield). If something goes wrong…wipe the box and suffer no downtime because box #1 is safe
Syncler still going strong and they actually laugh at me because of the issues and I think it could be related to my VPN which is in a separate post. Yeah that’s why I like something you pay a few bucks for and you know somebody’s there working on it like IPTV etc Cody’s great but definitely wouldn’t want to rely on it you know on super Bowl Sunday. And I don’t think there’s any issues with weyd in fact they have some unique setups I like I’ll stay with them too
I need to check out onstream. I find that filmplus is having less and less links with a number of the series I have wanted to watch and I reverted to Stremio for them. This was not the case before. Film+ for series was my goto, stremio for movies.
With RD and Orion free in Stremio I use it exclusively for all Series and Movies. For those, so inclined, you can add trakt as well. Tested all those others like CinemaHD, but delete them as they can’t compare to Stremio. All seasons, all episodes, natively episodes watched are marked with a checkmark. Onstream is my backup, but didn’t like the lack of ability to choose stream quality.
I don’t use trakt. Never have. I bought RD a long time ago and being so inexpensive I kept it just for extra sources. Good thing we have a multitude of options in this hobby. So many great working combinations.
I have Syncler+, Stremio, and Cinema. I have been using Stremio more and more. Syncler+ seems to be be a bit lacking as of late. Cinema…well it’s not the Cinema of old.
So, with Stremio being FREE and really have had no real issues and seems to have an abundance, if not equal to Syncler+ content. Then free is free.
No sense in having a paid backup. So I may? be dropping Syncler+ when my sub is due.
Yes, you’re over thinking it. Stremio works great for movies and series and is free. Syncler works for a small price with a Real Debrid subscription. Kodi is a popular hobby. Some on here also love Weyd. APKs popular a few years ago are not keeping up, but you might find it fun and entertaining to try 'em. It’s hard to recommend apks when you eliminate the two best working apps. Don’t over think, stream and enjoy!
I use Stremio with free Orion and Torrentio and no RD with vpn active at all times and get all the feeds I could ask for. All high quality. Syncler and Weyd still excellent. All the others are unreliable.
Yeah for sure. I meant to say that Kodi just keeps getting better. There are two reasons I don’t use streamio and I’ve tried to use it twice. One I don’t want to constantly use Torrents and have to think about it though I do use Orion it’s just easier to see in the other apps. The other reason is that I could not stand the user interface or the add-ons setup I know it’s all there I don’t care it’s not for me I’m not saying anything wrong with it everyone seems to love it I do not.So I’m hanging on with syncler because between all the people I’ve gotten subs for it was like four bucks for a year and I’ll have Weyd too. Kodi is quickly becoming my number one once again. I guess I was just wondering if there were any other syncler+ type of apps out there right now
I agree with you Streamio isn’t a good app or service, never has been. I have had Stremio for a long time and it really is far better than Streamio imho. The joy of this hobby is the freedom to find what works for you.
