It just keeps getting better
I just checked the playstore did not find Projectivy , did I go to the wrong place
Hi there. I recently purchased the premium version and would like to know how to go about installing my own wallpaper? I have Projectivity installed on my Google tv?
Thanks
You will need to transfer your pic to the internal storage or use external media to point to the pic thenđclick the cog wheel top rightđsettingsđprojectivy launcher settingsđappearanceđbackgroundđlauncher wallpaper, set to user definedđpick image and navigate to the image.
Sounds good. Iâll give it a try.
Is the wallpaper cave a good place to check out?
Thx
Another way to do it with an Xplore file manager, navigate to the picture you want, it can be anywhere on your network, right click - open with - Projectivy, Set as user wallpaper, should show as one of the choices
Very cool! Wish I had the skills to make my ownâŚ
Thanks for the tip Pawdog!
You can find many wallpapers just by doing a simple Duck searchâŚexample here is âmaterial designâ
material design at DuckDuckGo
Cool! Thanks for thisâŚ
Have an interesting question for Projectivy Launcher users. I see the small list of background options, and I went premium for the âuser definedâ feature/option, but how can you get and/or setup a live wallpaper background, that is random i.e., multiple/random/changing? Is there even a way to set one live wallpaper? Anyone know if there is a live wallpaper slideshow somewhere that you can use? To just have one still background as an option is just slightly less boring than the plain Jane black background. Do you need yet another separate app for the random live wallpapers? Just think it would be cool, if you were able to do something similar to the Google photos screensaver, but with movement. Thanks in advance, and I did try 4 different searches before posting.
@Powerfader is the master of launchers around here. If anyone knows he will.
I donât think it will do âLiveâ wallpapers. I tried, but it would only display static gifs I tried. Howver SCL3 does do Live wallpapers and you can make your own or load up others from web sites. The Emotn UI also does some live wallpaper and screensavers, but you are limited to what they have preinstalled.
Fyi, you can also make gif app icons using the SCL3.
Here is a link to a live background I made and installed on the SCL3.

Here is a link showing a live wallpaper with custom app icons.

Note: you cannot make gif icons using the Emotn UI.
Thanks, but I have no idea what SCL3 is, or Emotn. Not much comes up when I Google SCL3. Probably outside of my technical intelligence anyway. Appreciate it. The astronaut background wallpaper is sweet also!
If ya read the whole thread itâs in there Sideload Channel Launcer. Itâs in the Play store.
to date, projectivy has no user live wallpaper option. As a paid user you can use any wallpaper you like. The rotating wp that projectivy uses is set and forget with catagorys.
You wonât find the SCL3 in the Play Store. The SCL4 is there, but it does not have the Live Wallpaper feature.
Google has put restrictions on apps gaining access to storage. I talked with the developer, and he said when Nvidia pushes out the Android 12 update. Then he might be able to reinstate the Live Wallpaper feature again.
Also, he has a more updated launcher to the SCL4 that is also available in the Play Store called Primal TV Launcher.
Primal TV Launcher - Apps on Google Play
I had to get the SCL3 app from the mobile Play Store and then I sent it to my Shield using the Sens Anywhere app.
You will find it on your phoneâs or tabletâs Play Store. Then you will need to send it to your streaming device and install it from your file managerâs app installer.
I did find and apk by searching the web and I did originally installed it from there. Once I decided to keep the launcher. I uninstalled the 3rd party apk and installed from the mobile Play Store. He does charge $4 bucks for it, but I like to support developers when I can.
Also, you might find the app/apk in one of those 3rd party stores like Arura, Aptoid, etc⌠TP has those two in his Toolbox.
Btw, if you are apprehensive about your tech skills regarding the SCL3. The Emotn UI launcher is very simple and clean. Itâs not as feature laden as the SCL3, but they do have a pre-installed library of live wallpapers and screensavers. Also, the launcher does allow you to upload your own wallpapers, but not live wallpapers.
