I never received any cancellation email and paid directly on the site with PP. The message I received was just last week after an inquiry I sent. So I think I’m good. But you know how that goes. Time will tell. I think I still have something like 1150 days. Lol.
My payment portal was Copecart that was used to process my PayPal payment last year.
Lemonsqueezy was what was used for CC payments.
I can confirm that Copecart still processes PayPal Payments as I just re-upped yesterday for another year of Premiumize. No fuss-No muss it just works.
Mine says this on the Account Data screen:
Premium Status
Your membership will end in 496.47 days. Your membership does not have automatic renewal.
Yup they stopped all auto renewals, but according to my interactions, with customer service, they have assured me, that if I purchased their 3 yr deal, which I have an invoice and receipt for, that when the time comes to renew, they will inform me ahead of time, and that I can renew for the same price I originally paid.
I inquired about my 2 year, black Friday promo. They responded with that my promotional discounted offer was a one-time payment and that there is no renewal in place.
They said since it’s not subscription based, when my 2 yrs expire, I would have to either purchase a normal subscription based plan or just purchase a new one payment promotion if one is offered at the time.
No worries.
No worries.
Exactly. Who knows what will be going on in 2 years with the world today? I’ll worry about it when the time comes.
Agreed. I’m not a big fan of PM. Takes too long for links to play and constantly get errors when clicking links which requires me to click more than once on the link before it begins to play. Whereas RD, since the issue it had last year has been fixed and links play right away…I’m leaning on going back to only using RD….plus way cheaper than PM.
Well that’s quite the opposite of my experience. Premiumize has worked flawlessly for me and provides 4K HDR, HDR 10 and HDR 10+ for almost anything I watch. I found their closest server to a location where my VPN has servers. No problems ever choosing a link, and playing it, loading just as fast as any scrapers I have choices from. Absolutely love it and got a 3 yr sub. That and RD and I watch movies and series for hours without any buffering. Only $139 for the 3 yr sub. About $3.86/mth. RD $4.30/mth
PM performance response has gotten much better since the mad rush of panic subscribers last year.
I still maintain both RD and PM, I can appreciate the fact that PM does differentiate itself by having some different resolves than RD, making it not a cookie cutter fork of RD. The ability to speed test server load and change servers are something RD doesn’t offer.
Lastly, with the whole French crackdown, it’s really hard to say what the future of RD will look like. PM is outside of that geographical bullseye.
You’re right, however - even with their recent black Friday promo pricing, RD still wins the cost crown.
Canadian here: I began Premiumize when RD had all the issues. I absolutely love it! $79.00 CDN for 12 months ($6.25 a month)![]()
How large are the files that you play? Any large files always give me hard buffering issues unless I’m using a laptop that has a lot of RAM that allows for larger buffer windows. Problem I’ve always had regardless of using VPN or not or my internet speed
Most HDR 10 and 10+ Are 35 to 50 in size. But I have the Buzz P6L 256 and it has 32 GBs of RAM.
Come November, we will all be on the alert for Black Friday & Holiday sale promos on both. I have PM and it’s been fine the 9 months I’ve had it. I have never tried RD but would try it if a killer promo occurred.
I’ve used RD for many years - have never seen a pricing promotion. They’re cheap to begin with though.
I usually choose genuine 4K files sometimes as high as 30gb +. No buffering whatsoever! Internet speed does matter as does whether or not you are running your system using wifi or Ethernet. I do everything via Ethernet which is significantly better than wifi.
DITTO! It’s the same for me!
I did try PM when RD had a problem. I have used both RD and ADand either work well with perhaps a slight edge to AD. Unless you need the torrent aspect, RD or AD are much better for the $$
Maybe Troy @Miki could do an AD review sometime soon.
Troy at one time recommended AD but then stopped.
