Premiumize vs alldebrid pricing

I currently subscribe to premiumize at $11.99/mo but alldebrid is $3.49/mo. It seems I’m overpaying but is premiumize that much better? Thanks.

PM has more features than AD like newsgroup downloading, 1TB persistent file storage and a few others that may or may not matter to you. It also still allows the prechecking of links in the most used video streaming apps so you get less broken links or “downloading” notices. Which has the best cache catalog will depend on what you particularly watch. AD has a higher limit without fair use points if you are a very heavy downloader. You really have to decide for yourself which fits you needs.

PM is best bought during their Balck Friday sale for 3 years access.

ETA because I had an old price.

$11.99/month! Holy Cow. I used Premiumize for 1 month when Real Debrid had issues for 2-3 days a few months back. IMO RD is just as good and you can get 6 months for about $19 total

I got mine last Black Friday and may look to extend this next Black Friday if there’s a deal.

Premiumize had a deal and I signed up for a 3YR deal. $150. Works out to $4.50/mth for me.

Thanks for the reply. I didn’t know about the newsgroup feature, can you tell me how that works? And your reply was one of the most useful to me. Thanks again.

You would need a usenet indexer to get a file called an NZB to put into a downloader program like SABNzbd and it would connect to PMs servers to download the movie or whatever the file you want is. Think of it as an alternative to torrents. Usenet downloads don’t depend on other users hosting a file like torrents. Normally you would need a subscription to a usenet provider like Easynews or Newshosting to download but PM provides a usenet server so if you use usenet you can save on a seperate subscription. I suggest the usenet sub on Reddit for more info.

Thanks for the info, I can’t imagine I would want any of those newsgroups. I’m not aware of anything I would want from there. Thanks again.

OMG @ScoobyDoosSpots You blew my mind! Just when I think I’m learning cord cutting I realize your speaking 3 languages and I’m just learning English!!!

Me too. I quit reading after the first few lines because it blew my mind too. Same as when Miki and a few of the other experts get on a roll!

A post was merged into an existing topic: How to Use Real-Debrid on Kodi & APKs

Exactly @GraceWilson there is so much behind all this cord cutting! Thank goodness we have them to help us.

During that same promo, I opted for the two year $109 deal. It equates to $4.54/mo.

Hindsight, I should have elected for the max 3 year term.

There will be likely a similar promo again this year. Last year, it was offered around Thanksgiving.

We need to watch and alert the board. I think I got the same deal as you but also opted for 2 years because I’d never had a debrid before and didn’t want to go “all in” like I would now. I’m sure we can extend at a great rate if we keep watch.

Also FYI. Those that get the $139 3yr deal, they’ve told me that it will renew for that same price in 3 yrs time. So watch out for the “Black Friday” deal if you want.

So I wonder if that’s the case for the 2 yr and 1 yr terms also?

They implied that your 3yr would just autorenew at that same promonprice without any intervention on your part?

That’s great.

They didn’t imply it. They stated that it would renew at the price I paid and added that it would be for life, but then added until 2038. Lol. Hmmm maybe they know something I don’t :face_with_spiral_eyes:

I’m not so sure we will get autorenewal at that price. If you remember 3 months ago there were “cancellation” emails sent out to most PM users via Lemonsqueezy because a change of PM’s payment processor.

When everyone was freaking out the following is what was posted by PM rep on Reddit.

Hello Everyone,

Sorry for the confusion regarding the subscription emails that went out. If you received an email regarding subscription cancellation, your current membership will no longer renew automatically because of the payment provider.

No worries, you will keep the membership days you already paid for. Your account remains fully active.

Once your current paid period nears its expiration date, you can get a new membership on the account page. You can view your expiration date on your account page here: https://premiumize.me/account

7 Days prior to your Premium status expiring you will also get an email reminder to renew your payment subscription

Thank you, and have a great day.

I never bothered to ask for clarification since it was a few years out. Hopefully they take care of loyal customers.
