Paramount + App refuses to download and install on my Fire Stick

I have two Fire Stick 4k Max installed on two LG TVs. The app works fine on one TV but not on the other. I’ll explain: On the TV, it just refuses to work.
I kept getting the message that the “show” was not available and to try later.
That proved to be an erroneous message. I had it on a USB drive, so I deleted it and tried to reload it on the Fire Stick directly. So this is where I am now it refuses to download and install from the Amazon App Store. I made sure the FS was cleaned before I reloaded but it still won’t load so I tried to load it from Aptoid TV. That did not work. Does anyone have an idea of how I can get this app to install?

Thanks

Try turning off Play protect in privacy settings.

if you happen to be using surfshark VPN just turn it off and try again .I had a similar problem a while back so I just turn it off until I get whatever downloaded and then turn it back on. Good luck

I am using SurfShark and I did turn it off in fact I uninstalled it and it did not help. Thank you anyway for responding.

If you are using a vpn you must pause or disconnect first. That is what I had to do anyway.

Try this one. BTW I never turn my VPN off and never have issues downloading anything that is compatible with my Shield Pro.

Is there an option where I don’t have to give my credit card? Because Uotodown is asking for it and I don’t want to give that information out.

Where do I find this setting as I don’t see it anywhere in “Settings”. Is it a submenu of another function in settings?

Up to down doesn’t need any info. It’s an APK library and downloads are free. Is Paramount+ a paid service perhaps?

Yes it is a paid app but it’s on fire sticks from the factory. Anyway if you want to turn off play protect go to privacy in the settings and then turn off play protect

Install APK time and download from there. Looks like sn alarm clock or make sure you give permission for that app.

Easy fix, download the STREMIO app. It has Parimount + embedded, along with a number of pay for services. Works like a charm on my Shield Pro

For some reason with the VPN on it reacts the exact same way you are describing your issue. It’s happened to me a few times and when I disconnect the VPN it works like magic. If you try make sure to turn on the VPN again.

Thanks for the suggestion but that did not work. I think it is a FireStick issue. That said, I will contact them as soon as I get the time.

Unfortunately, that did not help. I think it is a FireStick issue

I have many apps installed, but I doubt that’s the issue as I have two Sticks and both have the same apps installed on them Paramount works fine on the other one and used to work on the one I’m having an issue with. So I think its a Fire Stick issue.

I have several 2nd gen/4k firesticks that won’t “find” to download legitimate apps from Amazon appstore, like PBS, Xfinity Stream, etc. They’re listed but when I try to download it says “app not found”? I contacted Amazon firestick support and they tried all variations . . unplug, etc. . finally suggested “factory reset” which I didn’t want to lose the sideloaded apps I had already set up.

Any thoughts/info on why this happens? I see a suggestion here about turning of Surfshark, which I will try, but ?
