@TROYPOINT I would like to take a moment to thank you for all of your hard work and effort to teach, and show, those of us that look to alternatives to what the mainstream media would have us use.

I’ve been a subscriber to you for quite a number of years now and I’ve learned so much through your very well done tutorials.

A few days ago I purchased 2 of the ONN 4K Google TV streaming devices. One I set up in my master bedroom and the other on the big screen. It took me a bit to get them set up exactly as I wanted them with the apps that I use but, once I was done, they work very, very well. Much faster transitioning than the 4K Amazon Firesticks that I had been using.

So, thank you. Thank you for the years of help you have provided me, and many others!

Hello just purchased my ONN 4k pro. How do I add add-ons? I have fownloader, I have IPVanish. Just not really sure where to get my add-ons

I highly recommend watching Troy’s tutorial on how to supercharge the ONN device. It is what I watched. Personally, I added Stremio to my devices which you can download from ‘Downloader’ on Troy’s site.

Put 250931 into downloader. This will give you Troypoint Toolbox, Unstall apps directly from there.

Just shopping at WalMart with SWMBO and thought, what the heck, I’ll pick up an Onn 4k Plus box. Pretty amazing - setup was a piece of cake! Just one question - my TV overscans some and a little bit of the menus are off screen. The firestick has an adjustment in the display settings to correct this but I can’t find one for the Onn. Anybody help with this? (The TV doesn’t have an overscan adjust)

Troy did a video about this. I’ll look for it on here but it showed up in a google search.

Did you try a different hdmi cable?

His 2 options are to adjust a setting in the tv or get an app to adjust the screen size.

I didnt watch the whole video as i dont havr the issue right now.

I have two ONN devices. My friend set them up in the USA with a VPN. I cannot get them to work in Mexico, VPN or not. One of them worked for a day but neither since. If anyone has advice in how I can get these to work in Mexico, I’d appreciate it. Gracias

Have another question. Am in Onn 4k, went to Kodi, then Scrubs v2, found one of my shows that I watch. How do I put this into the favorite catergory on Kodi interface. When I gad the firestick I was able to do this but cant seem to figure it out on this new onn

Long press ok on the poster and a context menu should open and you should have the option to add to favourites.
I don’t use the addon you mentioned but this how it is done on most addons.

Highlight the title or thumbnail of the show, long press select to bring up menu. Choose add to favorites. That’s it!

:+1:onn is a great cost friendly device, I love it

The latest ONN devices specifically do not work outside the USA. My advice would be to buy an earlier release on Ebay. I just got back from a month in Ireland and it worked flawlessly.
