Finally found the new onn 4K Pro and wondering if Troy plans a setup video.

We have a ton of information and guides on the Onn Pro already, most of it merged into the main topic. If you can’t find what you need, I’m sure there is a more basic Android/Google TV box setup that Troy has posted that is relevant to this device.

Can’t seem to recover the step-by-step instructions to set up 4k Pro.
Will the Onn 4K Pro manage the, turn off/on of the TV, Tuner, and box together?
I have a new ONN 4K Pro box purchased in Alberta, Canada and I am having difficulty setting it up. Can anyone explain how I can set it up in Canada? Walmart has not provided any customer support however I did find a fix that now allows me to access YouTube but not Google TV. I have Mac computer and iPhone so any solutions should be Apple compatible. Thanks in advance

A Canadian purchased box should be easy to set up in Canada. If it was a US purchased 4K Pro that you were trying to set up in Canada you would have to create hot spot on your pc and VPN to a us server. Then tether your 4K Pro to your pc and set up.
Thanks for the responses however I am returning the unit since it doesn’t matter what I try to do it will not initiate properly. I can get it to load YouTube only. It continues to go to the “out of region” screen. Since I have mac products I was only able to try the hotspot trick on my iPhone using SS VPN but was unsuccessful. The packaging has “CTV” “GEM” “CRAVE” icons so it should be Canada compatible. An individual who tried to help me out thinks it might be a bad unit.
Very well could be defective. I have a couple of 4K Pro’s and they have been great.
