Looked around and could not find how to clean the Cache first.
@Sam1995, from what I was told, the āBrazilian ONN 4Kā is a Marketplace seller. Most likely this seller bought a bunch of the boxes in anticipation that the market would skyrocket when the product became scarce. Hence the high price. And that would most likely be the older version.
I donāt have an Onn box but in general for an Android TV box you want to go into the Android settings-Apps-Find the app you are using and click on it-Force stop-Clear cache. This has helped me a lot when troubleshooting problems.
On the onn 4K pro, go to the gear. Click on it again. Go down to systems storage, click free up storage, clear cached dada that will clear the majority of the catch on the box.
To do tivimate, click on the gear, Go down to apps. Tivimate force stop, clear catch
Hi I purchased a ONN 4k Plus box a couple months ago and it wont pair back to the remote anymore, I have tried changing batteries, mashing the buttons several times, and unplugging the box, anyone have any suggestions what it be, when holding the back and home it says it an error cant pair at this time
Thereās a button on the back of the Onn 4k Plus box. Reset the device using that button (it may have been a return) and try pairing the device again. If that doesnāt work, return it.
Try in settings telling it to forget the remote it is showing paired and try again .
If the remote isnāt paired, they canāt get into settings and canāt add a second remote!
Not certain that this will work but, the original way to pair the remote was to:
Press the back arrow + Home for 5 seconds while holding within 3 feet of the box.
Use atvTools on your phone to navigate if you need to.

@davidpick the new Walmart ONN box is out but availability is sketchy. If you are lucky then you are good. But as most will tell you that you need to get in line.

Yes, itās kinda weird that they would increase the price from $30 to $40 to$ 50 in just a couple of months. Something VERY sketchy there Sam!!!
