Same here one day the volume didnāt work on any apps, so I rebooted and ended up switching hdmi ports that my ONN was plugged into my tv and everything started working again.

Might also want to try factory reset and see if that fixes the problem. Something bad may have happened during update.
Ok, I older guy not so good with searching etc. I tried to search for this but lost it when I had to sign up lol. I have to onn devices. Switching from Roku, had 4 of those and one of their updates hosed 2 of them and they did nothing about it, just wanted you buy new hardware, na, donāt need ya do that lolā¦
Anyway, love the one googletv, they both easy to jailbreak and add stores and apps that let you watch everythingā¦ pretty kewl.
But neither, the hdmi hd device or the 4k plus device have enough memory or storage. I ordered a cable for the one 4k plus but it was wrong one and amazon wonāt take it back.
Does anyone have a link to the proper cableā¦ looks like, micro usb female to male with power pass through and the extra usb female to plug in the usb stick.
I am assuming I can both move apk from the one 4k plus onto this device and add movies etc that are downloaded to watch using anexplorer or one of the othersā¦
But just starting this journey and already wasted money on one cable so want to make sure get the right one and it is going to do what I am intending.
If there is full guide for this, please link. Like I said, I lost one thread I found but could not find it back once I setup login, my bad for not doing that first lol..

Did the cable you bought say āOTGā? That should work for you.
Kodi works fine on the 4k plus - plenty of storage and power for it.

I bought 2 of these a while back when I was massing with the Onn Plus boxes. They worked out for what I needed at the time.
Well I can swear that is what I put in the amazon search when I bought it. But the one I bought has the female micro usbc and pass through to a regular male usbc, it does have the female usb split so you could plug in the. usb stick. But I was really deflated when I tried to plug things in lol..
maybe I have the naming wrong, but my Samsung is usbc and the one on the org cable is the smaller fatter, that is micro rightā¦ anyway, do you have link to one that is actually right one on amazonā¦. I canāt find it locally, rural in the southā¦. only thing is Wally World and they did not have itā¦

Did you buy this one, I almost did but their listing is screwed up, when you click on the C to C one it has this picture on the Iphone one, and when you click the Iphone one it shows the other one.
yea, I bought what said was right one but got the usb c to usb c with the usb dongle, wrong oneā¦ I went ahead and got the onn 4k pro, has so much more ram and storage and has the usb storage slot. it took every app I have thrown at it so far lolā¦ have not tried to move any to storage yet.
I still need find an explorer that will give me access to the android directory and let me have access to local network so I can try and move some books, pdf and movies on storage and try and figure out how to access them. why I really wanted storage in first placeā¦ I know there has to be a way.
I tried jellyfin server on linux box but all the players are on different tv;s and devices and each player is different and it wonāt even display the books library at all, bummer.. wanted to read on big screen lolā¦.
but if I can find something that works on onn4k pro that would be great, move things in and out from network or even read and play from network, either way be greatā¦
any experience with which apps allow this and doing this let me know..

I run my Jellyfin server off of a Zorin 17.3 distribution. It installs easily and works very smoothly on all my satellite devices which include ONN devices, a Fire TV and a separate Zorin laptop.
hey, thanks for replying, yea I am using latest version of mint. itās really strange, on my phone the client works, although all the books donāt display, only some. but on webos, onnhd, onn4k, roku, the players all different. Some display library, collections folder and donāt even display the books folder at all. it is really strange and have not been able to figure it out.
I started with plex and really liked it but had harder time getting the library right and workingā¦

@redeaglebot Did you install the JF server from Flatpak? Thatās where I DLed the server. I was a LM user for awhile, but itās been a couple years ago. I did run JF from it, but it seems that Iāve had much less issues with JF since I switched to Zorin.
Onn 4k Plus prices went up $10, making the device $39.88 now. The $20 OG box also went up to $25.
This price increase is likely due to the rapidly price skyrocketing of ram costs recently. Every device that uses ram memory dimms will be going up in price, as evidenced by computer parts, game consoles and cartridge games, phones, storage memory devices, etc.

What is a Zeon? Is it a service? A build? Is your Onn new? If so how did you find one? Id like to offer some help but need more info please.

Lately, when we want to watch a popular tv series, if I do not restart the device the program freezes. Restarting seems to prevent the freezing for a day, then I must do a restart to watch the next day. Seems very strange to me. Thanks in advance for you help.
Mine does that sometimes as well. I usually clean the Cache first. That usually fixes the problem. If not a reboot always works and usually lasts a long time.
Iāve found that 99.9% of problems like this are OTA reception or home wifi problems. This applies to both my Tablo devices and my Recast devices.
If you use tivimate you may need to increase buffer size in playback settings .
