I recently purchased 3 ONN 4K Plus units while in the USA last month. I installed all 3 units in our hotel room prior to our return to Canada. All 3 units installed without any issues in the USA, once back in Canada I installed my my apps (Downloader, Kodi, Tivimate, Projectivy, etc.) with zero issues. These boxes are performing flawlessly to date.
Yes they will but you know they have been available in Canada for months now. No need to even think about that. All three models however since you got them in the USA, I would recommend you use a USA VPN so you get the USA live stations and the Google freeplay app that otherwise you wonāt get. I probably wonāt be able to elaborate anymore but you can search here as Iāve spoken about it many times. The last time I answered some questions, muct to my surprise, I believe I was allowed only two responses, maybe three then told iāve reached my daily limit. I honestly never read anything about that soā¦. I read for the most point. Have fun

I have the onn pro and finally figured out how to add flash drive for external storage for recordings using tivimate. Anyone know if I can use internal storage for recordings using sparkle, both sparkle and tivimate om my onn tv pro box?
Each time I try to install a new Kodi build using ONN 4k plus, the system fails to install and kicks me back to opening screen. Very frustrating.
What build are you trying to install? That could be the issue.
I hve the Onn Pro not Plus and havenāt had issues.
You are wrong, to stream a 4K Netflix movie takes 25 megs, for roughly about a 25 gig movie.
Try uninstalling the older version of Kodi before installing a newer versionā¦

I use the new Diggz Xenon 4k build and i am not having issues like that.
Are you using kodi 21.2?
I have that loaded on Kodi and its working. I was trying to build a back-up using the Troyās āforkā programs. I may switch to another build because I donāt know how often Green Monster updates their site. I just like it because it comes with addons Crew and Umbrella which I like using. Thanks for your advice.

I own both the ONN 4K and ONN 4K Pro. Both are excellent devices, and they work great when set up using Troyās guide. However, Iāve found the Bluetooth connectivity to be marginal on both devices (confirmed by ChatGPT). The audio output to speakers will often garble after some time, even when set up within one foot and following all recommendations. Some connections work well, but most do not. This issue seems to be unsolvable via software updates. If you plan to use Bluetooth speakers to improve the audio, you may need to consider alternative solutions.
