I have a Samsung phone so I have the Galaxy buds 4 pro which are excellent but if you don’t have a Samsung phone don’t bother because it won’t have all of the adjustments available. I also have buds that are made for ppl like me with mild/moderate hearing loss and they are the Cearvol Wave . They were $400 and worth it if you have hearing loss. I swear I can hear my neighbors eating dinner sometimes if you don’t have hearing loss then skip these as the bass boost isn’t quite there for music listening. Excellent clarity for phone calls though.
Thirdly I have a pair of wireless Over the Ear Skull Candy “Crusher” headphones that have a bass boost slider to increase or decrease the bass and they will crush your skull 
. Rechargable via usbC cable which is excellent 
I connect them to my onn 4k pro (1st edition) in my bedroom and mostly use them there. Sometimes I’ll use them with my phone to stream music. Do I wear them outside? Heck no! 
I wear the Cearvol Waves so I can hear people talking to me and don’t have to keep leaning toward them while saying …What?

Well, I gotta say it is a very individual preference kinda thing. Every one of them have positives and negatives. And every person has different criteria for what makes it good or bad for them. My big 3 has always been sound, battery and easy to connect.
I have tried nearly all the big names and have 6 pair here on my desk at office.
For a very long time the best sound for me was Sony 1000XM3. It just seemed to have a very full sound that felt larger than an earbud. The down side of it is about 4 hour battery and kinda wierd shape to get used to. But with custom tips it could fit well and stay in place.
Right now my best all around is airpod 3. It is the first airpod that would not fall out of my ears. The sound is very good and the noise cancellation is very very good. Battery life is outstanding as well. It is a good fit for air travel in place of traditional headphones, which I also have a problem with accumulating.
I surprising cheaper option right now is TOZO NC20 Pro. The sound is very good. Battery is very good. The problem with this one is the bluetooth connection. It works great as long as you stay near the paired source. I maen really well, but, I like to use buds with streaming boxes and wonder through the house while listening. The NC20 drop out at places all others still connect and then sometimes have problem reconnecting when moving back into range. This is annoying and a surprise as I have couple other TOZO models and the connection is as good as any other brands. So I don’t know is I just got a dud or it is a real issue with this model. It is still a great option with that minor bug while walking through the house.

I have been trying to install kodi on my onni and nothing will play after I got apps installed on kodi. It started awhile ago. Everything looks right but as soon as I find something to play it shows all that is available then it says to streams available. Very confusing. I Uninstalled several times and reinstalled, I have VPN it is very frustrating, any advice
Most of the KODI addons require a Premium Debrid service like Torbox to get playable streams. Are you using a debrid service?
I’m in Canada and have been using the ONN devices since Oct. 2025. I have the stick version and the 4k versions. Both work great.
Onn is Google TV
We were not talking about the Google TV OS, we were talking about Onn’s implementation of geo blocking and VPN identification somewhere in the software/firmware.
I read that the new $39 (US dollars) ONN stick 2gb/8gb is not available in Canada. Seems Canadians are too smart to buy one at that price anyway. ONN Pro 4k is still available in Canada.
I use mine in Panama all the time…no issues at all as long as you set it up in the US. It can be set up there, but it’s a very detailed process that takes a little time.
Why is this even a discussion? It is widely known about where you can and cannot activate these devices. Just spend the money and buy a device that works on your country. It’s that simple.
Why even waste the time trying to circumvent the restrictions on a cheap device? I don’t get it. Just get a Shield or some other decent box.
@Subliminall in a lot of cases it boils down to available funds. Not everyone has the resources to buy an $100+ streaming device when one will most likely be buying a VPN, a debrid service and possibly an IPTV sub. It’s just the reality for many folks.
And on top of that, you can activate these anywhere in the world with just couple extra steps.
But the most important reason of all to get any device you want, anywhere you want it and set it up any way you want is FREEDOM!!
I’m with you, why by something you know you will have to jump through hoops to set up and even then it may or may not work. Buy something you know will work right away.
And if it is a funding issue, but a better box, use the free proton VPN and use a couple of crap apps until you save the $20 to buy a debrid service. Or download Browser from the playstore and use one of the online sires to watch stuff for a month or so until you get the 20 spot. No matter which way you go, you will be better off buying something that just works where you are right out of the box, and you would probably end up with a better device.
