I am up the creek. I decided to install the Projectivy Launcher on my Nshield. I followed the instructions that applied to a Firestick. But it seemed to work ok. When I scrolled down the page, i saw where there were some slightly different instructions for a Nvidia shield. So I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it using the Nshield instructions. It did not work at all. All i get now is a picture of Morpheus Tv, and a window saying Morpheus tc has crashed. and end application. I have tried unplugging the shield several times to see if it would reset itself. No such luck. That Morpheus window is all i ever get. All I can do now is sit here and slap my self. Hopefully someone out there can save me.

I’d probably uninstall that Morpheus app first. Then see if you’re back in the neighborhood you recognize.

try unplugging the shield a few minutes then try plugging it in and at the same time hold down the power button until it boots. Might need to try it several times.
several other options if that doesnt work. You need to get into recovery mode.

It comes on when I start up my shield, but there is no way to uninstall it.
your going to need to follow the 2 links I posted above. You will being booting into fast boot, then recovery and by recovery I mean factory restore.

I had a similar problem after downloading Wolf launcher. My remote was useless and could not send commands to my Nvidia shield. The following is a reply to me from “Powerfader” concerning my problem.---------
You could have just used the Shield TV Remote app on your phone and got into your settings from there to reactivate your Wolff Launcher.
Sounds like you uninstalled the Wolf Launcher without first deactivating it. So, your device had no launcher to go to.
If you decide to put another custom launcher on your device. Then make sure you also download the Launcher Manager and use that to activate and deactivate your custom launcher.

All the apps you have installed on your device can be controlled via this app. It also is a great way to copy and paste, navigate with touchpad, or type with the keyboard.

ok you sold me. Ive never been a fan of phone apps for the tv but guess what was delivered today?..my new 11 inch android tablet and so I decided to see how it looked on it…bam, awesome and I can see it

Shield Remote app for phone gets a 2.4 star rating - going to try it out though - nothing ventured, nothing gained eh?!

The main thing about having this is it gets you there when all else fails. or thats my take 
… wish it would let me watch stuff on my tablet…but no biggie
I put this app on my phone and my Fire HD 10 tablet. I use the tablet with this app more than my phone. It’s easier to use and see!

Yeah, i wish i knew about the app when i was setting up my IPTV service on a neighbour’s Shield. One day she came to me i said she couldn’t control Shield via remote. Phoned nVidia customer support who obviously didn’t know about this app & told me to send it back. She returned the Shield 2 days later - she doesn’t have the patience to deal with issues - lol

Thanks every body for all your help. I just got every thing set up and working. I had to use a usb keyboard to get through Googles set up steps. It looks like now I just have to get a remote control that works. Before the roof fell in i was using a Auvipal remote that was working great. Now it still turns my box on and off but none of the other functions work. The remote that came with the shield box doesn’t do anything. I have a couple of other remotes that came with other boxes but I don’t recall how to set them up. They are driving me crazy. But at least I don’t have to buy a new box as of yet. Thanks again.

…congrats…and now you know that a shield and firestick are different 
Are you saying your nVidia remote does not work with your nVidia device? If that is the case, try unpairing/forget the remote and then re-pair it.
