Returned what?
I return the Buzz x5 to Amazon.
Ahh ok. You confused me as this thread was about the new, and yet to be released P6.
I just got this update from BuzzTV:
The highly anticipated launch of the P6 Powerstation will be coordinated with a press conference at the National Association of Broadcasters exhibition in Las Vegas on the14th of April 2024 at 10 AM at the North hall, Press Briefing Room, LVCC N249. Pricing, how to order and additional information will be provided at that time. The device will be simultaneously launched on www.buzztvglobal.com the week of the show.
Seems to me these faster Chinese boxes sometimes have problems with quality control or design. Don’t know about the X5 but my Mecool (4/32) has that big heat sink at the bottom but was still overheating – picture would suddenly pixelate, turn black and the box would reset itself. Had to buy a little USB powered fan to set underneath it, then all was copasetic. And I have four ONN 4ks that I’m realizing I actually like better than the Mecool. They are just fast, reliable, and stable. Love the feel of the small white remote and the logical layout of the buttons too.
Anyone hear of the new Buzz beasts price point?
Nothing out yet, other than specs and l expected launch date. Looking forward to seeing this beast and if it’s what it’s cracked up to be.
Any idea on price for the buzz power station 6?
I went on the site and requested that as well. I was told after the CES, but never happened. Most likely sometime in April.
Thankyou. Just curious as it looks a good box and I’d like to order one
Pricing will be announced at the beginning of April.
Thanks
Correct on April 15th.
thanks
Don’t fall for the hype, it advertises android 13 but uses mobile software which makes finding compatible 3rd party software super difficult or impossible. Cant believe they still roll out boxes with that software. They give you a second universal remote with their boxes because the originals are cheap and don’t perform. I have bought a couple expensive top of the line 4900’s which were discontinued the moment I opened the box. Software failure is frequent and buggy from day one. They sell these boxes thru good advertising , the box will not sell themselves on performance. Wish I had that money back.
I have several Buzztv boxes and they are top notch and little issues. You sound like a disgruntled competitor.
My 4900 has been pretty much bulletproof since I’ve had it. 2tb Icybox m.2 drive with my favorite shows, Kodi 2.4 free & Jellyfin running to my living room PC. Only mod is electrical tape over the front logo, way too bright for nighttime viewing.
Why would you have several boxes unless you sell them. lmao. Just stating the truth you never questioned the buggy buzztv app or mobile software and that beauty of a remote. lol
@MrH please do not criticize other people’s choices. What they do with their purchases or why is absolutely none of your business. This site is about contributing experiences with streaming products and Apps and in helping others resolve their problems with those devices and apps. Your post doesn’t do that. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
It’s obvious you are just another forum troll or you would know my opinion of the Buzz app and the Buzz remote. I’ve made that opinion very clear in previous post. But rather than re-hash whats already been stated I suggest you read rather than post un-informed comments.
painful lol
