They are playing with fire if they keep this up, this up there with let’s increase prices because of inflation but nobody’s wage can afford it causing a collapse.
I got rid of Netflix because of this, but in Canada our pos pm has put on a tax on this stuff, I’m not sure if it’s the same in USA but for this reason I’m done with Netflix and will get it the free way. 
But I digress, people love Netflix and I do as well. I do appreciate you letting us know. Nows the time to look into real debrid and all the alternatives troy team offers.

I loathe netflix anymore. They lost me when they started with all these cash grabs, under the pretense of offering higher quality content. I have yet to see anything that justifies their prices or forced ads on the basic tier. They’ll never see another penny from me.

Netflix does invest quite a bit in original content. They have a really good player that I’ve come to appreciate.
However, the pricing hikes at the regularity that they’re pacing themselves is hard to tolerate.
I tolerate it more only because TMobile flips most of the bill.

same reason i left cable and direct tv several yrs ago and never looked back? i think i was paying 220US a month back then and now i pay 20US a month for all their content and i can record and save programs and movies that i like

i just canceled my subscription i was tired of seeing the same thing on month after month. I am canceling a few more.too for the same reason.

I love Netflix, worth every penny to me. I understand I can get all their content elsewhere, but flipping live through the channels at night is great. Really good interface also. It’s the only service I pay for.

Seems to me now that Cable TV is dying, Streaming will be the new cable as far as prices go. Stick with the Free Services, don’t give in!
The price increase is to enable Netflix to get into the live sports arena. They know there is big money there.
Netflix is the most popular for wide arrange of videos, including many hidden that Troy shows you how to access with special codes for each country. But the main reason I like this paid streaming service is, NO ADS. . few pay per view videos. Where Prime Video and the rest are on approaching “disgusting” as to extra costs/no-add subscriptions. The ad market has gone crazy. CNN now requires a subscrition ($4/mo) to read certain news stories, or they give you a limit to view, and then you’re cut out (or delete cookies and restart). But watching a 30 second video ad for every news video is insulting. I’ve told them so.
Side loading a android device to watch these videos, is great and the 2nd way to go if you don’t have a subscription or want to pay extra fees. But maybe I’m paranoid, but I fear this so called “video piracy” the more it’s used and known, will be fought back by a very powerful video marketing lobby. One of these days I fear my firestick update will remove the “unauthorized apps” feature?

Really? I can’t believe people are still paying for Netflix, but then again, they pay for cable-what a waste of money.

what do you mean netflix has no ads? you sure you still subbing to them? They definitely do have ads in the basic tier. They also nickel and dime you to death for upgrading to more streams or 4k content. That is one of the reasons I cancelled and never looked back.
