MP96 Streaming Device

Good afternoon,

I purchased a MP96 streaming device and it didn’t work well. It doesn’t store apps you install on the device overnight. Any suggestions?

Who makes the MP96. I’ve never heard of that one.

Can you provide a link to where you purchased this from? Like @Miki I’ve never heard of the ‘MP96’

Good morning ! Great website and content. Very helpful. So, I am looking to get away from the A#azon FS. There is only two of us in the house and we never have more than 4 devices going at the same time. We like to stream movies and tv shows on Netflix and other apps, we like to watch Youtube videos and watch live TV (IPTV service) No gaming for us. Troy, what streaming device would you recommend ? The A&azon FS was working fine but now I will need to replace 8 of them !! Would you recommend the o*n 4K Streaming Device from Wa*mart ??

Please and thank you !

David

usually Play Protect is the issue.

The general consensus is that the ONN devices, being reasonably priced, are a good option to replace the FS, especially if you are just doing basic streaming.

My apologies, t’s an H96Max box. I brought it off Temu I think. Sorry for taking so long to get back to you.

I picked up an “H96Max” box couple years ago online here in Thailand. I believe the “H96Max” is designation of a generic android box manufactured and distributed by many different asian (CHINA) firms.

I found mine to work for most part. The firmware is not polished and has few bugs and/or glitches but if you understand what you have it is serviceable.

I have tried few of these generic boxes over the years and they do work, if you don’t mind the bugs. But in general you will get better user experience with recognized popular manufacture.

Best bang for the buck seems to be Onn 4k plus right now. I set one up couple months ago and very impressed with it.

Just my 2 cent. As with all things YMMV.

I have 3 Onn boxes and they are terrific :+1:. Thanks for the heads up.
