Looking for a decent router, does TP-Link fit the bill

Looking for a decent router at a fair price, was wondering if TP-LINK would fit the bill?

          Thanks

Indeed, great selection at all prices. Wi Fi 6 start around $85 or less on Amazon, 6E $179 I use the AXE 5400, It’s great

Thanks, not to familiar with routers, my cable company is switching to a router modem setup and id rather buy a router then rent one from them!

You may have to buy one that complies with their standards or their list.

Yeah didn’t think of that! Gonna have to give them ah call, thanks!

Have you considered a “Mesh system”? Routers help a lot. Mesh systems are, according to my ISP, a router system but with brains.

Well my cable company is switching over to fiber optics with a router and modem hook up. I can use their router which I would have to rent or buy my own. I don’t wanna spend a fortune on one but want something descent, heard T-Link was pretty good and they won’t break the bank!

Take a look at this or check out there line up.Amazon.com

Yes excellent router, I was using one from Spectrum and couldn’t watch anything without buffering . Since I bought this hardly any buffering. So much better.

Anyone know of a police scanner I could download on firestick?

I used TP-link mesh system and my Internet is AT&T fiber. For six months now I haven’t had one problem my Internet streams like never before TPL is definitely the way to go.

I’ve been using a TP-Link Archer AX3000 for about a year and havent had any issues.

I use TP-Link mesh routers, as my house is spread out more than one router can cover. They’ve been working great. I use 2 Deco XE75 Pro routers inside and one Deco X50-Outdoor at the back of my carport, that provides coverage over my entire back yard.

I already had an Arris G36 cable modem/router, which works good but is not a mesh router. My internet connection is to the G36 and then I just used a CAT6 cable to connect it to one X75 as my main router with the 2nd one near the far end of the house.

You can mix & match different TP-Link mesh routers as needed, these support both wireless & wired connections. The X75 is a WIFI 6E capable router but one thing to consider is that WIFI 7 is out now. I’m not sure if TP-Link has a WIFI 7 router yet, if that matters to you.

Any mainstream brand has decent equipment if you’re not doing anything fancy just basic essential setup think Arris should be affordable and adequate.

My TP Link works great
