What launcher are most of the group using? It seems like Troy is favoring Projectivy vs. ATV now. Is the paid version worth the price. I have to get away from the messy Google TV homepage. Thanks
I use Pojectivy and it works great for me. The paid version was worth it to me.
I use Projectivy the free version.

Crystal Clear-Thank you
Projectivy and Wolf free versions although I may end up trying the premium projectivy version as well. One of the things I like about Wolf are the vast customizing options for widgets
Launchers are my Kryptonite! Tried Wolf - Bricked my ONN 4K Pro. Tried Projectivity - Bricked my ONN 4K Pro…After resetting the box decided I don’t need fancy wallpaper for the 10 seconds I’m on my Home Page.
I’ve been using Sideload App Launcher 2 (I think that’s what it’s called) for years now and I’m kind of in the “ain’t broke - don’t fix it” camp. What would compel me to go with Projectivy?
So it sounds like Wolf gives a better experience. Not sure if the customizing features are available in the premium version. Thanks for your perspective on this!
Other than being able to avoid the ads forced on me with the standard Shield home screen, the thing I like the most is the widget for ExpressVPN that let’s me visually see whether it is on and where I’m connected to.
ATV Pro and ProjectIvy Premium are the two best launchers out there, imo. Followed by Wolf and ProjectIvy Free. Then comes everything else well down the rankings. As much as I like ProjectIvy, I still like ATV Pro better. I use both, for different boxes, but my main TVs have ATV. Just my preference in that regard.
ATV Pro for me also. I have on all my devices boxes and love it. Simple to use and clean workflow.
what’s #6 ?
lol care to take a guess?
FLauncher all the way
I bricked a couple of Onn boxes and didn’t consider it may have been Projectivity launcher. Hmmm
I had Wolf installed on all 4 of our devices. The ONN update bricked the 2 4k’s. The older model at least was able to be brought back to life with the hardware reset, though it doesn’t appear to be able to accept adopted storage.
The 2023 model is completely trashed.
