@Bmetmaster ,I bailed on The Crew several year ago after having many “no streams” issues. The last few years or so, I’ve mainly used Fen Lite and the Gears addons. I never really cared for Umbrella, also.
Just curious, what streaming device are you using? Using a VPN?
And were The Crew and Umbrella working fine one day and the next day stopped working?
That’s just it, The Crew has continued to do the job, with the exception of the few quirks I’m addressing. I really don’t use Umbrella, it stopped being reliable some time back. I do use Express VPN. I had Fen Lite some time ago, not really sure why I went away from that. I’m using a Fiire Stick 4K Max and always have space issues so I’m always juggling applications. When the new Onn is available, I’m probably going there to solve that issue. Shouldn’t be forced to deal with the BLOAT wear that takes 3/4 of my space. I already use music and other apps that don’t benefit from VPN on the smart TV (Samsung). I’ve loaded a build or two, but that’s more space, feel less control, and harder to get around in. I know I need to unload some of my old apps and plug in some new ones, so I’ll probably look at Troy’s list and whats working currently. Maybe give Feb Lite another go. I’ll update with any improvements.
@JerryJ Agree. I think the CREW is awful and deleted it a while ago. FenLight AM, Dradis, POV and Umbrella are my staples.
LOL That’s exactly why I bailed on The Crew. Used the Crew for Years until it got clunky. Been using Umbrella and FenliteAM for over a year now. Much more stable and faster with the CocoScrapers

Thank you Jake! this was really helpful. I came across an issue where My Crew is not showing as a selection to add from Favorites in the PartyMode add-on.
Amazing how many people are focused on the crew addon instead of the main point of the video. Things change. I haven’t used The Crew since shortly after making this video. Get over it.

Umbrella has been one of my main two go-tos since September of '24. It’s very reliable.
That’s what I use now. And I’m still not having any issues with Real Debrid like others are.
