I know. I was agreeing with your good suggestion. I may have misworded it.
Bssssst Earth to Aj. Earth to AJ. Come in AJ. (Long dramatic silence) Sorry @MarkxG I don’t think AJs reciever is working. Or his RD account ran out.
I think I found it thanks to all the suggestions, I worked them into a bundle and thought to disable all the addons, force stop Kodi, clear the cache and add them back one at a time, force stopping Kodi & clearing cache after adding each Addon.
I cycled this five times using different combinations of addons to make sure I pinpointed the problem.
1/ I first loaded afFenity it played as it should have. Then Crew, OneMoar and lastly Elementum and everything stopped playing.
2/ I then disabled everything again and played each by themselves and they played flawlessly, force stopping Kodi with each step & clearing cache. I got to Elementum and kept getting a playback failure.
3/ I then played them in pairs. Every time I paired with Elementum the addons stopped Streaming.
4/ I Disabled Elementum & forced stopped Kodi. And enabled the other three addons.
5/ I’ve enabled Crew, afFenity, OneMoar together and they’re all loading sources & streaming.
Elementum is working great in the older 2/Onn 4k devices we’re using. Just not on the newer Onn 4k Pro.
Note: I had trouble getting the Elementum to download from the Downloader per Troy’s instruction.
For both the newer Onn 4k Pro’s, I downloaded Elementum from Elementum’s website. And then from my FX File.
All the addons including Elementum played well for the duration of the week after the Onn Pro upgrades, up until yesterday evening. I do not have a clue as to what changed except getting the Onn Upgrade around the time I discovered Kodi wasn’t streaming yesterday afternoon.
It appears to be the Elementum Addon.
Regardless if by itself or in pairs or enabled with the three other addons. Nothing streams as long as Elementum is enabled?
I’m still tweaking to make sure everything is up. But thus far all are working great.
Look. You all have been great, thank you so much. I was able to use all your ideas in helping to troubleshoot this and if not for your engagement I would still be at this tomorrow or just giving up.
Thank you all so much…
Why I love this forum & Troys Peoples man.
Awesome Job you guys.
Jeffrey
Glad it worked out. @blackbear thought that was your problem.
I have no technical knowledge why its interfering with the others but perhaps because Elementum is its own non debrid addon.
I dont have Elementum on my build nor do i remember seeing on others that I tested. I did test it out ince but wasn’t a fan and if i remember it was Elementum all by itself. No other addons.
It now looks like the Elementum addon was the root cause of my issues.
I disabled it and everything is back up and playing. If when I added Elementum with other addons, they too stopped streaming, even though everything was loading, and I haven’t the know it all to figure that one out.
I don’t have a build per say. I use the Kodi Estuary with afFenity, Crew & OneMoar and Elementum until it went Zombie on me.
Elementum was some how some way blocking my sources from streaming. Almost 20 hours later and if not for all of your help and suggestions, I would still be at it.
Thank You!
Oh Deer that’s funny!
Try pulling the plug out of device, letting it sit for 10 minutes then try you’re strapping and then when you go to resolve it’s not giving you any information I found see I have all D and real D for this reason
I was actually going to start working on Kodi last winter when it’s too cold to do anything else however I started work on channels DVR and xsteve. I didn’t have any luck with it because there’s not enough resource material. And besides channels DVR will not one touch recording. Maybe next winter
I read that Debrid will soon be free.
Would be nice to know where you read this rumour. First I’ve heard of it.
What you’re describing is 100% an issue with Real Debrid being active and properly linked. Not that I’m doubting your ability to know when your subscription is up, but please login on real-debrid.com and double check that your expiration date is in the future.
Firstly, make sure you aren’t confusing URLresolver with ResolveURL. If you have the older URLresolver dependency installed, delete it immediately.
Go into Kodi settings > system settings > add-ons> manage dependencies.
Click on ResolveURL and ensure that it is version 5.1.138 and the author is Gujal. If it is not, it’s time to update. You can install an add-on such as Umbrella or The Crew and it should automatically install the latest version of ResolveURL.
If you do have the latest version, click on configure. Go to Universal Resolvers pages 1 and 2 and disable all of them except Real Debrid. Then find Real Debrid and RESET or REVOKE your authorization. This should clear out any bugs. For good measure, you can force close Kodi at this point and then open everything up to get back to this page.
On the Real Debrid website, make sure you are logged in with the CORRECT account if you have more than one. Double and triple check your expiration date to ensure it is a future date. Go to your devices page and delete all of your devices. If you have other devices besides your 4 Onn devices connected to Real Debrid then you’ll need to reauthorize them also.
Go back into ResolveURL and authorize your Real Debrid account again. You can also set the priority of Real Debrid to “1”.
If you follow these steps exactly, I guarantee the issue will be fixed.
Hi, is the skin your using compatible with Kodi 21? If not you may experience issues.
I had to change skins.
Seems like the update of the onn pro broke elementum, one question would be does anyone with the new update have elementum working on the pro?
Everything was working fine up until the update. Then Elementum went rogoue and was keeping everything from streaming. Removed it and all is well but for my Multiweather & Weather system in Kodi not opening.
Thank you…
Removing Elementum helped a lot and then upgrading to the newer Resolver version made a huge difference in loading more links.
So appreciated your time and instructions…
I noticed that only one of the choices for weather in kodi actually works correcty for me, I have a recent nightly version of kodi, is working better than 21, as in not crashing like 21 seems to do pretty often.
I’ve always used the Yahoo multiweather in Kodi and it’s worked rather well. Is working in my older Onn 4k devices but not in my newer Onn 4k Pro devices in Kodi 21.
Not sure whether its a setting in the box or the new update last week that threw everything out of whack, but these happened simultaneously on both new devices with the update.
