If you get your Kindle to read ebooks, please let me (us) know.
Hey Shrinking,
Iâm not familiar with OMV except that its reviews say that itâs a great Linux OS for a media server but not particularly user friendly.
If I had your NUC, Iâd do what I did and install Zorin on its boot drive, replacing whatever OS you have installed. I did not install Zorin originally for Jellyfin. I chose it because itâs an easy OS to use as my daily drivers.
With Zorin and many other distributions, Zorin has the Jellyfin server easily available in its âsoftware storeâ.
Will do
I use this to put eBooks on a Kindle. Download it to your computer. Plug your Kindle in. Here
Perfect! I am well versed in Zorin, having switched from ubuntu in order to be more âwindows-likeâ for my spouse while getting her away from Windows 10 and its nightmarish invasiveness. I had no idea that jellyfin was just a flatpak program. OMV not user friendly is an understatement at best! Felt like I was trying get a 747 off the ground.
Let us know how it goes for you!
From the server side, JF has just about all the features of Plex. Itâs just that some of the admin stuff is tucked away in somewhat hidden places.
