ITTechBasics IPTV

I am using the new ONN 4k box. I would have agreed with you a few months ago about their service but the past few weeks have been anything but fun.
I just wish I knew what was causing the problem and make sense of it.

Thanks Streaming429 & yes chime in anytime. I do not use a VPN. I tried one LONG ago & it caused other issues so I disconnected it.
To me, it seems odd that not using a VPN is causing this issue. everything else, all other APK’s work great & I have no buffering, no issues, no problems, Just ITTECH

could be your isp throttling. Whats the speed test say…sorry if you already said…just thinking

Yes. I’m in the US. No problems with ITTech Basics for over 3 years. Initially, I had a bit of buffering but after contacting support, they said to update tv, movies and series occasionally along with clearing the cache occasionally and that has done the trick. Since all the channels, movies and series take time to load, you may want to put in a help desk ticket to limit the countries and channels to what you want and watch. That will take less time for boot up.

on laptop - download is 153.12 upload is 11.50
using ONN box upload is 10.9

They have already removed unused countries and channels.

I find upload speeds are best for streaming when 15 mbs or higher. If lower than 10 mbs, I’ve had buffering. No problems at all since going from Wi-Fi to LAN cable connections to my TV boxes.

I purchased a 1 Month subscription to see how stable it would be. I did experience buffering and freezing. I performed maintenance force stop clear cache and reboot router but I was finding this had to carried out too frequently. I changed VPN locations and two different VPN providers, I had the same experience using Chromecast with IPTV smarters and My Tvonline 3 using formula Z11 Promax without success. I’ve taken out a subscription with a different provider and so far so good even when the premiership football is on

That’s crazy. We’ve never experienced anything like that. Even our Grandkids use it on their TV’s. We’re using SS VPN and I switch between that and Proton. I let Express go for now due to cost. We have it on two ONN 4K Pro’s and the Grandkids on the ONN 4K. In Laws use it as well on their ONN 4K. Sorry to hear the issues your having

I have had ITTechBasics for over a year now without a single problem. I use IPVanish and a Mecool KM7 Plus. I clear cache daily and use TiViMate. I am renewing in a couple weeks. I don’t understand how some users can have such problems.

Things happen. It’s understandable. I don’t think I’ve cleared the cache on any of our devices in well over 2 months lol

Maybe it’s something to do with our UK IP address but it all started well and then deteriorated. My replacement provider is stable so far even during the premiership football. If all goes well then I will extend the sub after the initial one month purchase.

Yes. UK is a different animal. I’ve had services in the past who refused to stream any channels from there to ā€œprotectā€ their business. I prefer to limit my viewing to US and Canada anyway.

I must admit I have noticed that UK terrestrial channels are less stable with some IPTV providers yet US channels are pretty solid. I’m happy with the alternative supplier at the moment and if all is good after the 1 month I’ll renew for a longer period of time.

I agree it’s a mystery yet a different supplier using the same equipment is fine so far :crossed_fingers:

I take the m3u url, hi to m3u4u.com…u can edit every channel and every group, rename, change the order, hide individual channels… Then it generated a URL for u to put into a player like tivimate

Turn off the VPN… Is not needed, they have internal VPN… Or just try without VPN… Also ifu have orbi or mesh system, there will be interference with isp router, ditch it

I understand that some others here at Troypoint do not think using a VPN is necessary when viewing IPTV. I beg to differ. Unfortunately, there are internet service providers (ISPs) who do monitor what you are viewing along with your data usage. Some ISPs will even give you a warning that you are viewing restricted content. Some providers will arbitrarily throttle your internet speed. Usage of a good VPN service provides a bypass private transmission tunnel that your ISP can’t access for your privacy. A VPN can also help avoid black out restrictions by giving you access to another IP address.

I was referring to iptv providers, not playlist editors.

I agree, I live in the UK and my ISP provider is a large well known provider. I believe they’re legally obliged during the premiership football season to control band width for those that are streaming during match time. Last weekend 45mins before kickoff and with the VPN off my TNT channels and sky sports channels went off air leaving just a black screen. I enabled the VPN and normal service was resumed. I did this twice with both my VPN providers with the same result. So I can personally agree with you that a VPN is a must with ref to certain ISP providers.
