ITTechBasics IPTV

You must love ads!

World feed channels are far better and more reliable during live football anyway. A lot less traffic and more stable. Better commentary and pundits too. Hub Premier, Astro, BEIN sports, Optus etc.

Very true I will watch say the rugby build up on UK TNT then at kick off move onto either Sky Sports New Zealand or Supersport South Africa. For the cricket again either of the above providers Astro cricket with VPN on

Oh yeah Sky sports New Zealand has hardly any ads ever. Love it!

None during match time, Only at halftime

Hi sim_bill
I took your advice and I am trying out ITTechBasics.
Only had it for a few hours but I am very happy so far.
Currently using the 1 month plan.
Pros:

  1. Quick repsonse via email. I got the M3U and other codes (for phone) in 10 minutes. (that is fast in my limited ā€˜testing’ experience (as compared to folks here doing this 12+ years))

  2. I used a VISA gift card I paid cash for in the USA. It worked, Gold colored card (blue print) issued by Sunrise Banks St. Paul MN. available from Dollar General and I think Lowe’s. (try any Dollar store too…)

    NO CRYPTO
    NO CRYPTO
    NO CRYPTO

  3. Almost zero buffering on tv or VOD

  4. The customer registration will take any name/address/no ph # and a fake gmail (one time) account. while using SurfShark.and zero browser info transmitted.

Cons:
1)No 4K found…all downgraded to 1080
2) EPG is OK and provides service better than Alibaba $18 but about as good as their $25…either Mike Wu or or whats-her-name-baby…
3)About 15% expected channel outage…ie FOX News. (I will update this review in a day or so. ) (oops…one hour later most are working…zippo buffering…quick channel change on a 90 Mbps SS vpn connection on the router)
4) New movie VOD is behind compared to more $$$ services. Show VOD is much better than average.
5)Some on demand channels not working…percentage…hard to tell.
I have not changed SS vpn city yet,

Overall…not bad for inexpensive sub.
If anyone asks I will give them a brief review of UK/some Euro feeds.

TMI? Tell me to shut up. No problem.
Thanks sim_bill.

I hope those ā€œIn the knowā€ better than me weigh in…

Glad you like this IPTV service. I have had it for over 3 years. If I have problems with feeds from time to time, they have suggested 1) Updating live tv, movies and series, then clearing the cache, which you can do from the settings menu on their app., 2) switching to another server on your VPN service. I also suggest you add a good quality backup service. As far as 4K streams for movies, I have had mixed results with other services that have them in that quite often the streams cut off before the movie has played half way through. At least the 1080 p feeds on this service do not buffer, freeze or cut off before the movies are finished. That said, this provider has excellent customer service and responds quickly to customer inquiries.

Mr Wu works perfect for me for 18US per yr…how much does ITT Basics cost?

The only issue I’ve had with ITTechBasics is their NHL hockey coverage. They have an NHL section but often the channels don’t work. They are very responsive on Telegram to fix feeds but I shouldn’t have to do this every night. Plus a lot of times they don’t have all the games in the NHL section. I know by now the channels to go to for certain teams and I’ve set them in my favs but I didn’t have this experience with any of the other major sports. I guess hockey fans are a very small percentage compared to football.

And regarding the VPN issue, I agree about the throttling. I am with the world’s worst throttler - Rogers (or as we call them Robbers) and I know for a fact that when I turn off my VPN my IPTV viewing suffers greatly.

And if you are going to say - why don’t you find another ISP? - my wife continues to rely on her Rogers email for everything even after I tell her we are going to be tied to them for life. So what am I to do? Happy wife, happy life outweighs all other things.

Yes. I have had a few issues from time to time on the NHL games, (I’m a big Golden Knights fan), but all of the games are usually on the ESPN + section unless the game you are looking for is on national television.

That’s Abby, Abby baby! LOL  :sunglasses:

Another ā€œvery satisfiedā€ ITT Basics customer here. Seen a recommendation on here . I at first tried the service for 3 months worked fantastic ! . I just renewed for 1yr for the 2nd time. Thanks ā€œInsidersā€ !! Works great on Tivi-Mate and the VOD has a huge selection and plays error free…also VOD utilizes ā€œpremiumizeā€ . This started as my B/U …but has since became the ā€œstarterā€

Just a comment. This evening, I had a couple blue offline screen outages while watching an NHL game on ITTech Basics. I contacted support. They fixed the problem and notified me in 5 minutes. Their customer service is excellent. I have subscribed with them for over 3 years.

I signed up with ITTechBasics for 1 month. I could not get their app ā€œTV Tubeā€ to successfully install. Found out via support that they download a ā€œRebranded Tivimate 5.1 Premium appā€ as part of their install. And I use the Tivimate Premium version to interface with KroozTV. They said I need to uninstall my Tivimate in order for there version to get installed. I am not interested in aligning myself with a one off version. And no info on their web site or at Troypoint highlighted this constraint.
