Thatās one main reason we quit doing reviews. We were reviewing the same service over and over again. Thereās probably 12 real services and thousands that resell those. Maybe not even 12.
I challenge anyone to find one that is not a resell. Not one that says they are the source.
How would you know??? I think my Main one could be. They are small, invite only, no web site, no discord, no social, have their own proprietary app (donāt give out Xtreme codes) and are not taking on new subs. But is there a distinguishing characteristic that one could tell if they are original vs resell?
Yes, the small operations and even some of the super large ones share feeds but it is not just a case of whether it is a reseller or not, it is also important how close to the original feed the seller you are dealing with is.
The āpanelā resellers are a multilevel marketing, and all build off of the same infrastructure but there are also resellers that have their own servers and ātie in ā to the feeds closer to the source and provide a more stable feed since they can control the load and load balance better.
I have a similar setup, but we finally convinced him to open a Telegram. I have zero doubts he sources feeds from some of the big names, I think he uses several, but Iām pretty sure he also operates at least some of the servers on his own.
I have tried to figure out the sources, but nothing matches exactly. For instance, specific channels will be a better resolution on his service than Strong. Trex etc. and then other channels will be better on his than other services so that in the end he almost always has the best feed while any of the other services will have a lower resolution feed on some channels. He also does not experience outages that line up with the ones I hear about or experience on other services.
I think many of the private sellers are just people who bought a panel and that is basically it but there are some that do more. When you find one the extra price is definitely worth it.
Is it important that a service has its own private URLs?
Hmm Iām not entirely sure how to interpret that question. All services have their own URL.
It is important that resellers have their own url . if a private url gets caught up then the others arent affected.
As Ted6986 said yes it helps from DNS attacks or takedowns, but multiple URLs can lead to the same server. So, it wonāt help for an overloaded server but can help avoid takedowns or DDoS attacks.
Part of IPTVs resiliency is the complex web of provider/URLs/servers but it can be a weakness also. We never really know what we are dealing with.
New default URL to provide clients: https://xxx,xxxx.xyz (We recommend to get your own dns and create a ticket to link to our service).

Do not SELL on Reddit or other social medias (Tiktok, Facebook, IG etc). This is a BIG risk for the service, even if you do not include the name of the service. No Posting, No DMs.

At this time, selling on discord is allowed. However, do not post discord links on social media / reddit. This is still breaking the rules.

This is what the better services layout and want from their resellers. These services usually have lots less problems.
Carpe Noctem sells to both subs and resellers. Resellers talk directly to the owners and techs on their channel .
yup when my service was still taking on subs there were some folks who did some not cool stuff and they changed their policy to state something along the lines of āIf anyone you invite is found to have broken the rules not only will they be banned but also the person that invited themā
Same with mine. And even on the invite only Telegram users canāt post any contact info or url or anything specific etc. to assist other members. The less information available out in the wild the less problems.
How were you able to use eaglecast on your own tivimate? I did their trial and like the fact itās all North America. I donāt like the clutter of 20 of every channel. It feels cleaner IMO. Iām really thinking about subscribing to them.
They sent me their URL for the server, along with my login credentials.
CatchOn has a fairly good lineup BUT and this is a BIG BUTT - it only plays on itās own app !
Personally Iāve tried quite a few services although a little Pricy Apollo is good giving you 5 connections and they can be simultaneous - so in TiviMate or Sparkle you can have multiple streams going in multi-pane mode - seldom get three w/o some buffering but two at the same time works great. My backup is Lemo - cheap and good service but only 1 connection per account.
That isnāt a proper site URL.
Itās for their Xtream Codes to be used in our own Tivimate, not the actual website.
Ahh that explains it. Apologies my mistake. Have a buffer free day.
Haha, no worries⦠just trying to help in case EagleCast doesnāt provide the server URL to the next buyer.
