IPTV Services Detail

Since discovering inexpensive services and the chances they can be shut down, I’ve started to get free trials to find a group that I can use so if one is having issues, I can switch to another. After testing over 10 from Alibaba, to Troys top 25 the two biggest finds have been: 1) Kemo has the biggest most extensive content over every one I have checked. It’s easy to compare using Tivimate. They always have the best movies, series and live options. 2) so many services are the same. A number of the top 10 in Troy’s list are the same service under different names. I’ve been comparing the live US TV list of channels and they are exactly the same. I think in the future, instead of Troy saying the number of channels they say they have, he should do what I do and just look at the US. You can quickly determine if it’s the same service as others. This has been a fun project but it puts them on equal footing. It’s amazing to me how many of these services are just the same. No point in doing a full review if in the end it’s the same as another. At least 3 of the top 10 are the same, if not more. Lux and Krooz are just 2 examples…..

I agree a thousand percent with @Davduck . I had kemo/lemo then suddenly went to renew and they had changed their entire payment structure and would no longer accept my payment as I could not and would not use their methods. They are slow to respond with tickets if ever, and forget trying to resolve channel issues. Pay once and either be happy with what you get or take the loss and move on, which I did.

So in your experience, is STRONG the most reliable service at the moment? I know circumstance can change in an instant from these providers. Thanks.

I did this, I’ve had the same service for years and it used to called Primestream but they went down and I don’t even know what it is called now, but I had a lot of issues so tested several and Yeahtv won out. Do I have both now and switch if one buffers or acting up. Had to pay for premium tivimate but it’s well worth it running multiple services.

Reasonably priced. 12 months, 2 connections, $69. Not bad.

I don’t get how these companies can advertise themselves and still function without fear of blowback. Is it because they are overseas and untouchable in the US?

I dumped Kemo awhile ago, too many problems and not worth what you’re paying for it.

I switched to Eagle Cast TV https://eaglecast.tv/

@GraceWilson if you want to compare annual it’s $69 annual for 5 connections but USA & Canada only. Free trial available. It’s been working well for me. I don’t do annual as these services come and go however $69 wouldn’t kill me !

@termn8er I understand what you are saying but I’m not interested in how many US channels there are, as I live in the UK

Then you don’t understand. I was just pointing out a way that I can compare services. Us, UK, use whatever you want. But if the list from service “A” is the same exact list as service “b”, then they are the same service.

Man, I have had Lemo/Kemo for a while and to me it’s not as bad as I am reading here. If there really is something that is that much better I need to get out of my hole.

I have tried tons of different services and generally they have all been the same. The best service I tried was Apollo but the cost was higher than most other services. Lemo/Kemo was the best value/quality option.

@ Davduck hook a brother up

Having the same channels that trace back to the same provider (that is shielded to hide their identity for obvious reasons) doesn’t mean the services will perform the same for end users.

They could be using different server or content networks to deliver the feeds., have different load levels or be located in different geographical regions etc. The absolute source feeds can be shared by high level suppliers like Strong, Trex etc and even though they eventually trace back to the same origin the user will have a different experience with each.

With the availability of easy panel access there are indeed a ton of pop-up providers that are just cut and paste services. Even some of the “private” services are just a copy pate but some actually maintain their own servers and load balance etc.

Any review or recommendation has to be tested by the actual user to see how it works with their particular location ISP etc. Even the time of day and what you watch factors in. Way too many factors involved to make a blanket statement.

I’ve had Lemo for a while now and have had zero problems. They have a huge assortment of channels, and their 24/7 selection can’t be beat.

My only point is, I think it’s good to know that that provider A is offering the same service as provider B. For example the 2 I mentioned above appear to be Strong. So for me that’s good to know. If you don’t care, fine. I didn’t say they are good or bad. But if the lineup is exactly the same, my guess is they are using the same servers and are resellers. Again if you don’t find this information useful. Fine by me.
