I have followed the steps in the guide to update Kodi 2.2 to Kodi 2.3 for my onn streaming device to the letter and even tried a few other steps and gained nothing but fails with each try… I’m open for suggestions on how to resolve this…
You did say that you followed the guide for Troy, right? I did the update several hours ago on my Fire Cube and Shield Pro with no issues. I do have the Troypoint Toolbox in Downloader so I just followed that to perform the update. If this is how you did the update then I would suggest trying it again.
He does list a specific guide for Androids
Troy toolbox is the easiest way to update to Kodi 20.3. It will ask if you want to update. Just click install and it will update.
You won’t loose any of your add-ons.

JerryJ, I took your advice and tried again and I got the same visible results as before… However, even though I didn’t get the confirmation of a successful update I got curious and went to Settings, System Info for Kodi and saw that the version was 20.3 and not 20.2 or 20.1 so apparently the update was successful and I just didn’t know it… thanks for your advice.
