The following tutorial will provide you with step-by-step instructions to watch Samsung TV Plus on Firestick/ Fire TV. Samsung TV Plus is a Free IPTV Service that carries hundreds of live channels for streaming. Unfortunately, it is currently not available for installation on Amazon Firestick & Fire TV devices. Luckily, we can still access these…
In the link it says that the Nvidia Shield (plus others) has Samsung TV Plus available for download. I can’t seem to find it in the Play Store.
I can get it in the Play Store on my Samsung phone under the same account.
Any idea?
Thanks.
Hey JPM69,
It looks like its no longer available for Android TV Devices. Just follow the guide on your SHIELD and it should work just fine.
Thanks for the info.
Could/should i try to side load it from my phone? I used to do that with some apps on my FS but haven’t tried on my Sheild yet.
Also, can i intergrate others TV apps into the same smarters app? I have the Live TV area with Google tv, Pluto etc. Can they all be under one Smarters app?
Thanks and sorry to hijack the link. You can repost somewhere else if needed.
Thanks Miki but it wont install. I used Downloader and went to the url. I have it as an apk in files on Downloader but after pressing install it says “app not installed”.
Wow. You’re right. I tried 4 different versions and it won’t install on my shield pro. I have it in my TiViMate and it works fine but the stand alone app won’t install.
Tried sideloading using Easy Fire Tool and got all the way upto installing again and then it failed. Oh well. I guess Nvidia is blocking it.
I did try the IPTV smarters app based on Troys instructions. It worked but without any channel/program information. There are over 300 channels in the USA section alone. Far too many to channel surf blindly.
Thanks for all the help.
its not actually being bloced imho but it appears its configured wrong by the dev?..my guess
There is a functioning EPG. An M3U8 has an integrated XML file that is added into the EPG section automatically, or at least it is in TiViMate. Now I can’t speak to Smarters but the XML file URL was also posted and you may simply have to add it, them make sure you activate it in the playlist, and then update both the playlist and EPG. In TiViMate I have 7 EPGs activated for the Samsung TV Plus and last time I counted, out of 585 + channels only 6 didn’t have an EPG.

Remove the brackets around the period in front of XML when you add it for theEPG in your IPTV player.
I get an invalid url message. It doesn’t add user.
Using firestick.
Have older Samsung smart tv…the internet run by Samsung cancelled most conservative web sites ie: RSBNetwork ,GETTR etc…also YouTube was cancelled …thus if Samsung showing tv shows most likely are woke shows…I plug in my laptop to the Samsung hdm1 ports to watch conservstive sites …
I never use any Internet run by Samsung and my last TV was a 6 yr old Samsung that I used to program Firesticks. I have that Samsung TV Plus in my TiViMate. I have no idea what woke is and really don’t want to. I use my Shield Pro, Firesticks, KM2 and ONNs attached to the Samsung and absolutely no restrictions to the types, or number, of channels I watch. The TV is just a big monitor for my devices for all intents and purposes
all I get with that xml is errors in my tivimate. it also asks for password and name
What XML? XMLs are EPG files and get entered in the playlist adding process. Now M3U8 doesn’t need you to add the XML as it’s integrated into the M3U8 and auto loaded. So I add the full m3u8 for Samsung and then remove any groups/countries I don’t want.

so you enter the above in TiViMate Premium>Settings>Playlists>Add playlist>M3U playlist>Enter URL>Enter what I gave you above>click the keyboard enter>click next>follow on screen prompts to add a name and let it load>back out and the playlist will load. Add any additional EPGs you may have already loaded if you want. Update playlist and usually within a couple of minutes the EPG will load.
The first time you enter TiViMate you will need to enter your credentials for your Premium subscription you purchased using the TiViMate Companion app on your Droid phone or tablet. The free version is a waste of time.
I tried the install a few time but keeps coming up a invalid file any ideas
Yes. On the link above, on the end after the / it should say us.m3u8 instead of just m3u8
Thanks for pointing that out. You were correct I missed an entry on the end, although mine is “all” as I use four countries and find it easier to add every country and then deselect the ones I don’t want instead of adding 4 playlists. Corrected now.
I think there’s an individual m3u8 for almost all countries. Here’s another bit of trivial info if anybody wanted to see which channels you are getting beforehand, you can just add an html extension to the end of the link instead of the m3u8. Then view on your browser first.
So say you wanted to see the difference between the Canada and the US channels. Also the total number of channels.
