What is the best apps for apple users? I know about GSE player for apple tv
I have Smarters Pro on iPhone & iPad. About 2 years now
Same here (Smarters Pro). I use it on my IPad whenever I travel.
GSE IPTV can get it at the app store
I’m not sure but it looks as if it got renamed to Media Show TV. I didn’t download it, but from looking at the pics, it looks the same and is made by Appsmarters
For Apple I use TiviMax which is similar to TiviMate used on Android devises
Oh ok is that macos iOS or iPad or apple tv?
I use GSE Smart IPTV. It cost $3.00 on the Apple Store. The free version of GSE IPTV is no longer available. I find that is a good service. Seems to be more stable than the Startup Show player on my Android box.
Hi, I looked in the forum or in the Troypoint website but unless I missed it, I could not find a clear post with a list of IPTV Players for MacOS. On my MacBook, on the Apple Store, I search for Smarters and there are a lot options, very similar and it’s difficult to be sure to find a valid one and not a fake one..
For MacOS, how can I install Smarters app (for free if possible) and which App should I exactly search for please ?
Is it possible to install Smarters lite or the only option is Smarters Pro here https://www.iptvsmarters.com/
Thanks a lot
Best place to get it - other location normally have the android apk.
Another option to try before getting paid version is,
Thanks, I checked for ImPlayer and it is available only for iOS (iPhone) and not for MacOS.
Sorry about that ( not an Apple or mac user) - just a member of Implayer discord.
You could try,

I’ve tired just about every player for Apple over the last couple years. UHF is the cleanest interface that comes the closest to mimicking any cable provider. The way the channel logos look (size and sharpness) on the guide look great. I love the custom categories option, you can even move the channels orders up and down within the category.
Second, I liked was Chillio. I just didn’t like how long it took to load up channels When opening app.
TiviMax I had high hopes as I’m a big fan of Tivimate, but not as good and fluid. More of a knock off.
These are just my experiences and opinions . Thanks

Developer chiming in (hope that’s allowed — mods, remove if not): I make Velko, a native Apple TV IPTV player, and this thread is exactly who I built it for. It’s guide-first — a classic full-screen EPG with instant zapping — works with Xtream or M3U, and 1.2 just added catch-up (press & hold a channel to replay the last 24h on providers with an archive). Couple of things this crowd tends to ask about: no accounts/tracking/servers (credentials stay in the Keychain, favorites sync via your own iCloud), the free tier has no watermark, and Community TV (the open-source iptv-org list) is free with no time limits so you can try it without a provider. $2.99/mo or $39.99 lifetime.
App Store: Velko: IPTV Player & TV Guide App - App Store

Hey, really useful feedback.
I’m the developer of StreamX, a new IPTV player for iPhone and iPad, with Mac and Apple TV versions currently in development.
Since you’ve already tested a lot of Apple IPTV apps and seem to care about the UI, guide layout, channel organisation and overall smoothness, I’d genuinely love your honest feedback if you’re open to trying it.
The app is still very new, but I’m releasing updates weekly and taking user suggestions seriously. I’m not looking for fake praise — even if something feels worse than UHF, Chillio or another app, that feedback would be really useful.
StreamX doesn’t provide any channels, playlists or IPTV content. It’s just a player for users who already have their own playlists.
You can find the App Store link and Discord here:

Would really appreciate your thoughts if you get a chance to test it.
@StreamXDev shame, I got an old iPad. Would love to try it out.. ![]()
. One day I will upgrade, but hate to, when it still works great. Lol..
Ah, I see—I believe the IPTV apps available on Apple are the best compared with Android ![]()
