How to Install TiviMate on Firestick/Android TV/Google TV

OK - thanks.

4.7 runs fine for what I use it for. I just want sure if the 2-3 updates beyond this one included any new features that were worth noting - or performance improvements that are relevant enough.

So I think i’ve tried about eight times already typing in a M3u. It’ll either give me an immediate error or process several minutes before giving me an error that ocured while processing and to make sure i’ve entered the correct data and check your internet connection. I go letter by letter checking for errors, checking for empty spaces, checking punctuation, etc. The internet is working because the VPN is on.

If this is paid service - always ask for xc portal setup.

I don’t think this is specifically a TiviMate or an IPTV problem but more of a .ts file problem/question. I used to download some motorcycle racing videos from a private site and often the files would be .ts files. Sometimes they played fine on my Shield using VLC or Kodi but fairly often there would be playback issues. Maybe the video was 60 minutes long but would report being 25 hours long, or maybe it would play fine, but you couldn’t jump to another time in the video. Or maybe it would play for 20 minutes then just stop.

I use NextPVR to record over the air broadcasts to my computer as .ts files and it is VERY rare for these .ts files to have playback issues.

However when I record files to my computer (SMB) using TiviMate (running on my Shield), it seems about 10% of the files I record have issues like I mentioned above. For example, today was a 1:15 recording. When I tried playing it on the Shield with MXPlayer or Kodi, it would play for about 27 minutes and stop. Also the file reported being only about 48 minutes long. I tried using MPV to play it on my computer and it also failed after 27 minutes. VLC on my computer would play the entire thing, but I had to let it play from the begining and do no time jumping. If I tried to move forward at all, it would jump ~40 minutes into the video and play on fine from there.

So it seems the actual video and audio is contained in the file, but most players are just having issues playing it. Is there any tool anyone knows about that can correct the timing information in a .ts video so that it will play properly? In the past I have had some success re-encoding the .ts files but that takes quite a while.

I just started using TiviMate. I can record tv shows perfectly. However, recording seems to be missing on VOD (or at least I can’t find it). Am in missing something, or is there a way to record movies? This is not a big deal since I have VOD for movies, but I might want to have my own copy of a movie for some reason.

Hello, no you can only record live TV.

The only app I have seen with an option to Download VOD is implayer

App has active developer - Love the option to add playlist via web browser to the app on your streaming device

You can easily download movies/shows with KODI
