OK - thanks.
4.7 runs fine for what I use it for. I just want sure if the 2-3 updates beyond this one included any new features that were worth noting - or performance improvements that are relevant enough.

So I think iâve tried about eight times already typing in a M3u. Itâll either give me an immediate error or process several minutes before giving me an error that ocured while processing and to make sure iâve entered the correct data and check your internet connection. I go letter by letter checking for errors, checking for empty spaces, checking punctuation, etc. The internet is working because the VPN is on.
I donât think this is specifically a TiviMate or an IPTV problem but more of a .ts file problem/question. I used to download some motorcycle racing videos from a private site and often the files would be .ts files. Sometimes they played fine on my Shield using VLC or Kodi but fairly often there would be playback issues. Maybe the video was 60 minutes long but would report being 25 hours long, or maybe it would play fine, but you couldnât jump to another time in the video. Or maybe it would play for 20 minutes then just stop.
I use NextPVR to record over the air broadcasts to my computer as .ts files and it is VERY rare for these .ts files to have playback issues.
However when I record files to my computer (SMB) using TiviMate (running on my Shield), it seems about 10% of the files I record have issues like I mentioned above. For example, today was a 1:15 recording. When I tried playing it on the Shield with MXPlayer or Kodi, it would play for about 27 minutes and stop. Also the file reported being only about 48 minutes long. I tried using MPV to play it on my computer and it also failed after 27 minutes. VLC on my computer would play the entire thing, but I had to let it play from the begining and do no time jumping. If I tried to move forward at all, it would jump ~40 minutes into the video and play on fine from there.
So it seems the actual video and audio is contained in the file, but most players are just having issues playing it. Is there any tool anyone knows about that can correct the timing information in a .ts video so that it will play properly? In the past I have had some success re-encoding the .ts files but that takes quite a while.
I just started using TiviMate. I can record tv shows perfectly. However, recording seems to be missing on VOD (or at least I canât find it). Am in missing something, or is there a way to record movies? This is not a big deal since I have VOD for movies, but I might want to have my own copy of a movie for some reason.
Hello, no you can only record live TV.
The only app I have seen with an option to Download VOD is implayer
App has active developer - Love the option to add playlist via web browser to the app on your streaming device
You can easily download movies/shows with KODI
TiViMate Users Guide 5.1.6.pdf
includes instructions on how to record to external storage using a mouse and keyboard
Thanks for sharing !
appreciate that! thx

Iâmmmm back. I am having heck of a hare time with T Mate. After all this time, the only box that works for me when it comes to installing my T Mate premium is my my old faithful Nvidia Shield. the newer box I have wonât let me sign in the the google play store to to sign in for the premium T Mate set up. So I canât make a payment for the premium service. Can someone tell me what I can do. I donât remember my play store password and the play store doesnât let me sign in to get the premium service anymore anyway. I canât even get into the play store any more. ^%@*^#^. Thanks
Hi @JesseB,
Iâm no expert, but believe your google play store is connected to your gmail account. Think they both share the same sign in password. We can no longer access playstore nor youtube without signing in.
If you have forgotten you gmail password just reset your password and sign in. Hereâs a video to guide you.
This can be done on the Tivimate website - either create an account or login with your Tivimate account info.
You can also manage your devices
You can avoid playstore and install apps from Troyâs toolbox
I can manage to get in to my account where I pay for Tivimate Premium. I have had it for a long time. I am all paid up. I have used different names and passwords to log into my Tivimate account. The problem is that it keeps telling me that I can only have 5 accounts of at a time. So when I want to sign up for a new connection on a new device, it wonât let me sign up for the premium service even though I am already paid up. It tells me that I have to sign up for a new account. but when I do, it wonât accept my new pass word or user name. I hope somebody at Troypoint can help me. Thank you for trying.
From what I can see on my account is that they donât allow you to add more than 5 devices - you can manage your devices via the website - delete devices you no longer use and add a new device
You can sign up for a new account on Tivimate website using new email to add another 5 devices, you can now pay via website using your payment card - link to website in my post above
lotâs of free email optionsâŚyahoo, gmail,ms,protonâŚlike Mike saidâŚnew email+ new account and another 5 devices
I have paid for another Tvmate account. When I set up a new Tivimate app on my tv, I need to unlock the premium version. But no matter how many different passwords and usernames I use I canât unlock the premium edition. I donât owe them any money or anything. They tell me that I need to change my username, or change my password. So I end up having to start all over again. I have 3 tvâs but only one of them has a Tvmate app that works.
