if you make a ticket in the discord, what we can do is jump directly into the app on your device and i will be able to run lots of tests in the background and read exacly what is going on, i can read both device logs and app logs so it flag something up for sure. i need it in discord though and put there all the issues you’re having
also voice search is on the cards, still trying to work out how this works

Time for a bit of an update. Well it’s been six weeks Since I bought the lifetime sub for TG and the improvements have been nothing short of stellar. Things like the auto switching or providing options for you to choose if a channel buffers. Multiple playlist integration. A very active Discord as well as a Developer that cares about his customers and actually addresses issues as well as feature requests with almost daily beta updates. Speaking of which I recommend everyone choose beta updates and post any issues in discord as then we, the knowledgable INSIDERS, get to be part of improving an app and helping the Dev out, not simply using it. From the ease of recording without the need of a system picker, built in diagnostics, to an online AI, on your dashboard Support section, that you can ask questions and get immediate help, TG never ceases to amaze. For those, like me, that love to tinker, you could dig through the settings almost daily and find new gems to explore. Yes it has a free tier, but, like the other popular player, I personally think lifetime pays off big time. Have fun all you amazing TP Insiders and don’t forget to post all your helpful advice, we love to hear from our fellow members and Patrons.

Yet another update 2.2.0 and even more new features added and being added, that are making this growing IPTV player a genuine contender for the top spot. Now we can trim the channels down in our EPG with ease as you surf for things to watch or programs you had forgotten about. This was something I had requested and shows how much the developer listens to ppl who actually use a player like this daily and not some AI that emulates what users do. If you actually enjoy an App that you can configure to your own way of doing things, then you seriously need to look at TG. Have fun and STREAM ON all you insider stars.

One thing you’ll love about this app is the ease and reliability of recording. Have a great weekend. Oh and don’t forget, you can fully configure groups and channels as you want and now the Dev has added the ability to hide or unhide channels in any category in the EPG. Getting easier every day. Yet another Beta release today.
Playing around with it but in the movie or series section nothing shows up. I’m assuming you need VOD which I did install my url. Probably something I did. Trying the recording feature tonight to see if it works. I like the ability to have different themes. This might cost but if all works it might be worth it
I set it up to record several programmes while away this weekend, it successfully completed 7/8 of them, so I’m really pleased with that side of things
VOD should be in your suppliers Playlist if enabled. Some make you pay for the privilege. I have disabled all my movies and series, in TG, as I use Nuvio and Stremio for those. Check your groups and make sure you didn’t accidentally disable the movies when you were doing some setup. Just to be sure use the search and search for a specific movie title and see if it comes up with a result for you.
Also another update has dropped. Read the notes for what was fixed and/or added.
Recording didn’t work. Gave an error of app interruption. Not sure what that’s about
Very odd. No problems here with recording. App interruption warning I have never heard of. I’ll try asking the AI on the TG site. Here is what it said.
App Interruption refers to the situation when the TiviGlass app is stopped or closed unexpectedly, such as when the TV is turned off, the app is forced to close, or the system resources are low.
To troubleshoot, you can try:
* Checking the TV’s system resources and closing other resource-intensive apps
* Restarting the TV and reopening the TiviGlass app
* Running Settings → Help & diagnostics → Self diagnostics to identify any issues
* If the issue persists, consider starting a support session and sharing the short code privately on Discord for further assistance.
I then asked if Tivimate would start when I scheduled a recording. Here is the answer I got.
Yes, TiviGlass will start automatically when a scheduled recording is set to begin, even if the app is closed.
To ensure this works, you need to:
* Allow Alarms & reminders for TiviGlass in your TV’s app settings, as shown at the top of the Recordings screen
* Exclude TiviGlass from battery optimization in your TV’s settings screen, to prevent the system from stopping the app
* Make sure your TV is turned on and not in a power-saving mode that would prevent the app from starting
So I didn’t know some of this and had to go into my P6L settings> Apps> Special app access> Energy optimization> Optimize energy use of apps> scroll down to TiviGlass> turn off “Optimizing energy use”. P6L is plugged into a surge bar so not using a battery so I doubt I need to optimize it’s energy use. While I was here I also turned off the energy optimization for Stremio. Nuvio. PVR Service. Plex. Notification. Network manager. MX Player Pro. Media Storage. Downloader. Just player. SurfShark or your VPN, And for all my storage options.
Under the special app access you will also see “Alarms & reminders” be sure to go there and scroll down to TiviGlass and make sure “Allowed” is enabled.

Oh I get ya. It was like a lady on another forum that her sound wasn’t working in the TG player on her Onn 4K pro. She had been talking to the Dev and they were trying to sort it. I simply told her to turn off the EQ in the Video & Audio settings as it has a preset when enabled and I don’t think most devices have the necessary Sound system attached and set up to use the EQ. Voila, problem solved and sound all ok now. Does take a bit of creative thinking at times, but when you want it to work it just should. Trouble is with a plethora of devices and OSs it does take a bit of settings deep diving to get all the stuff working together. Not only in the App settings, but in the Device settings as well. That’s what I love doing. I have been going section by settings section in TG and clicking around just to see what the settings are for and what they actually do on my device and maybe on others as well. But now with your question I have learned about the permissions setting as well as the power settings on my P6L and their effect on the TG app, so tx for that.
