I have the new crew add on for kodi (thanks Troypiont for the directions) but the live channels are not working. When I go into IPTV there are 4 choices each one I click on doesn’t work. Did I do something wrong?
The crews iptv is free and channels come and go, you will have to wait to they are online. You click on them then wait. If they dont load they might be down or servers are busy

Well that makes sense that the first time I downloaded crew on older firestick but worked and when I set up my new one it didn’t lol ty so much for the reply 
I tried Crew IPTV and if I remember correctly you have to enable simple IPTV client. A kodi guru can chime in, I don’t use it anymore but remembered I had to do that extra step. Did a search and found this>>

Hi, thanks for responding. We seem to have solved the IPTV problem. Now I am having trouble with IPVanish arbitrarily turning itself off. Any ideas?
You should use the search on ipvanish and make your own topic on it.

Is there a setting in The Crew to add local library as a provider/source. I can’t remember which addon it was but I recall an addon that had a setting that search for a local file/source before searching for 3rd party sources. If you did a search for X and it was already in your library that would be listed at the top followed by the external sources. I have search around and can’t seem to find any mention of this, but could be describing it wrong.

Cant get anything for the studio, friends & neighbors, and most anything from AppleTv.
Is it a RD problem, Crew problem, etc? All these used to work fin until the past few weeks.

I think it is a Crew problem. It is why I quit using the Crew. You need to install Umbrella. It works great with RD. It is the only addon I use. I have no problem getting shows from Apple+ or any other network.

I feel like i tried Umbrella before and it slowed Kodi down evwrytime i opened it. It went away when i remove the scrapers program it auto installs. Not sure what was up with that or if its still an issue
Try POV it has its own built in scraper and uses RD+. It is a fork of the original Fen addon but the dev is active and it is receiving updates.
I just searched both the shows you mentioned and POV found them and had RD links
I haven’t used the Crew add-on in a long time so can’t comment.

Umbrella is working great. Not sure what scrapers you are removing but you shouldn’t be removing any scrapers? Umbrella uses the Coco Scrapers which is what makes it so fast
Thats what i mean. Everything on Kodi would freeze when stsrting Kodi. I figured it was after installing Umbrella (several months ago). I read somewhere about Kodi freezing with Coco Scrapers. I deleted Umbrella and Coco Scrapers and freezing all went away. I can try it again.
Out of curiosity do you carry out maintenance on Kodi and how much storage is Kodi taking up on your device?
Mine is around 300mb but have 4 video add-ons, 4 programs add-ons and a configured skin.
