These are just two quick sources. There are dozens more. Searching isn’t that hard
Where do you look for the catch-up option on your channels. My service has this and I’m wondering where to look. Thanks.
interesting question. I have zero catchup but it could be they(my urls etc) are all routed through my server and lost on catchup…I dunno but I can tell you where to look in case yours might be working… at the top go to guide>> and look below for options and you should see your way from there.
I found out how to hide categories thanks to a post by TXRon, but it does not look like StreamVault supports moving / re-ordering channels at this time.
I figured it out…
First, highlight favorites category>>>>hold select button for two to three seconds>>>>box will pop up, select reorder items>>>>highlight channel in your favorites you want to move>>>>move selected channel up or down to desired position>>>>press select button>>>>move to next channel you want to reorder and repeat process>>>>once you have completed your task select Save Order in the upper right portion on your screen>>>>>YOU ARE DONE!!!
I tried to access catch-up that way. Doesn’t appear David has added that feature yet.
Downloaded the app from TROYPOINT and ran into issues, when adding extreme codes credentials movies and series loaded fine but live tv only downloaded the groups but 0 channels in each group, not sure how to fix this ![]()
downloaded and installed this from troypoint to the letter and everything went fine, until i trired to open any of the programs and it automatically puts you straight back to the home page, i even tried to sync and it wont let me , so i think the problem may be that its on my fire tv cube which may not be compatible , any help with this is much appreciated but big thank you to troypoint for this app.
I’m pretty sure Amazon is blocking the use of what it considers to be unsafe apps now. Unfortunately, this is the way it’s going with FireOS, which will be phased out over the coming years, as Vega becomes their driving platform. Consider switching to an AOSP box.
I must of done something wrong. It lists all categories listing all channels but none will run?
Same case here, VOD loads fine but Live TV takes l5-10 minutes, and ends up with the correct channel list but all have “0” actual streams. Trying a reinstall and then will disconnect VPN.
Anyone else have this prob‽
I’m told by developer update to come soon … it’s not us lol
New Streamvault free IPTV Player: I uninstalled/reinstalled ver9 (from Troy’s Toolbox) and this now works fine. But still long time downloading Live channels.
Channel sorting function may be useful to bring forward “US” channels. Currently my IPTV provider does that by request.
I may be wrong but channel search/UI may make it harder to find some channels than Smarters Pro free (e.g., the mislabeled MSNow channels).
I want to check stream quality and stability If Streamvault Player is more stable than Smarters Pro (reinstalled 2x/3 weeks on an Onn box), I may still avoid paying a player subscription.
Question, anyone: What are the advantages of a paid IPTV player and which are the best value? Thanks. Troy has built a great community…
@starman59 , by far i am no expert
here on Troypoint…but lets begin…firstly, pretty sure StreamVault is still in development, hic-ups will be present, if your gonna jump in on an unfinished project ya gotta deal…second, how many Live channels are you downloading, if it’s in the thousands and more, then it will take a while to get them all, especially the first few times, and lastly, i was one of the few Smarters Pro die hard hold outs here on Troypoint for many many years, itz easy to navigate and figure out on your own, but i have since moved on to the paid version of Tivimate, and i couldn’t be happier…there will be NO looking back, there are SO many feartures for customizing itz ridiculous–i have to use the 58 page instruction book to figure it all out, and there are features that i would have never even thought that i can now not do without…so WOW, what a world of difference…this is just my take…YMMV…
I second the TiVimate, but on the Buzz devices the BuzzTV 6 free built in IPTV app is amazing. Troy has a vid and tut out for it.
Installed Stream vault 1.0.9 on firetv cube. Added two M3u sources. Both loaded ok. Select any channel, the video and audio start and then the app immediately crashes. Any ideas what I may have done wrong?
Paid players that are sideloaded like TiViMate and IBO Pro usually have more features and settings, in addition of being quicker to download/update your playlist subscriptions. Also, you can download as many different playlists as you like, unlike branded players put out by some IPTV providers. As long as you can get one with a reasonable lifetime subscription price, I think they are well worth it. The lone exception to this I have found that is free is StreamVault. It belongs right up there with IBO Pro and TiViMate.
I agree with most all here. SteamVault is a work in progress with a very active DEV but it has many “glitches” still to be worked out and I only suggest using it for tinkerers or people that just like to test apps. I do use it along side Tivimate(still #1), Emby, Sparkle and smarters(from Troys toolbox).
And I appreciate you @TXRon for being one of the first Patrons to point out StreamVault to us!
