I always check my internet speeds on the box your using to ensure it’s not losing speeds at all if buffering occurs, but if all else is working fine then it probably is the app somehow. Using a good speed test app that you can be sure is accurate is important also. I pulled up my Onstream, fired up a movie & it’s working rock solid. I have 300 fiber on router with Surfshark installed VPN on USA location & no issues at all with it. I agree with @MikeN that a fresh install of app might work to heal it. I noticed it had an update when I pulled mine up, currently running 1.1.0. I haven’t used if for awhile on this box I pulled it up on, which is a Z11 Pro Max.

Yes, that was one of the first things I did, and got the same results.

Thank you for your suggestions. I did do a reinstall with same results, but I didn’t do a speed test, I will definitely do that. :+1:

Just done a fresh install and update - testing, will watch for the issue you are having, so far 4 minutes without any buffering ( Formuler Z11 pro)

What device are you using?

Update 15 minute no issue, speed test 41Mbps

@G-Dawg , an your having problems with Pluto as well, man I think it’s gotta be a setting on your box(no expert here) that’s giving you these probz….do a Google search about your jumpy Pluto thing an it mentions display settings :person_shrugging:

@G-Dawg Your very welcome. Do you have another device you can run the app on to see how it performs? Are you using hardwire or wifi? Maybe changing it from the one you are using to the other might be worth a shot. This speed test has proven to be very accurate. You can download from Aurora Store. It matches perfectly to my real time internet speed meter so I know it is accurate. The Onstream app is working perfectly on two of my Formuler devices, the Z11 & Z12.

Hey @MikeN , thank you for your update. I’m using Buzz TV 6 Ultimate.

Pluto is the only free app that has the choppy screen, all the rest are good. It’s weird!

Thank you for this, I’ll definitely give that a go. I will try it tomorrow. I don’t have another box, I am using Buzz TV 6 Ultimate.

Thank you so much for your input.

You could ask Miki to test - I believe he uses the same device.

Have you installed any new app which could have caused your issue? original post, you said it worked without problem for a long time

Hey @G-Dawg , i went to the official onstream web site, and their trouble shooting is about the same as everyone here has provided, but the last advice if none of their solutions work was….ā€If you continue to experience issues with the OnStream APK, it is recommended to reach out to the app’s developer or support team for assistance. They will be able to provide specific troubleshooting steps or insights to resolve the problem.ā€ on the site…. https://onstreamapk.to/
is a contact button that takes you to their telegram….so as a last resort….

@MikeN Thank you. Yes I have installed new apps, but uninstalled them as they weren’t exactly what I was looking for. Other than that, no new ones.

Thank you so much @itzme, I will definitely go there for sure!

I am going to PM you a site. Go there. Find onstream for android TV. Install it and it works flawlessly.

@informant just an update , I downloaded the Internet speed test that you recommended, waited for the buffering to happen, did the speed test, the results: 856.97 Mbps Download, 325.91 Mbps Upload…

@G-Dawg Certainly no issues with internet speeds for sure. I didn’t think of this before but is the buffering on more than one particular movie on Onstream? Have you tried multiple movies to see if the issue might actually be the one particular video itself having issues from their end? I thought of this but can’t think of any other possible things it could be. I only have high 200’s download fiber here at home & that app is rock solid for everything I have streamed through it. Of course even that is far more than plenty to stream with. @Miki You may be on to something if @G-Dawg has a version that is modded or corrupted, or possibly a variant designed for a different device possibly.

Hey there @informant. So I was chatting with Miki last night, and he suggested that I head East in the U.S. on Surfshark, and although I am still getting some buffering, it’s not near as bad as it was, so that’s good news so far! I’m hoping it stays this way. The ā€œBufferingā€ word has become a cuss word here at my place! Lol! :joy:

Thank you so much for your suggestions, I really do appreciate it!

@TROYPOINT I just got wind of this so I made sure to share this. This will be extremely handy for those using a Firestick. MobiFlix is an app available that is a perfect clone of Onstream, but allows use without forcing an email. From my investigating I have done on this app it’s a perfectly done clone of Onstream. Perfectly clean on scan using Virus Total also. Special thanks to @G-Dawg For the heads up on this one! To get this app, use your downloader entering code 2434497 & stream on!
