You can setup without a Debrid service using AIOStresams not Duckstreams. If you do that then it will be using P2P/Torrents and will be less reliable as you previously mentioned. Also you would need use a VPN. Also you can’t add Debridio or Torbox addons.
Lol, you guys are amazing! @Miki, @DaveZerf @dogg5150, and anyone else i might have forgot. You do realize the 99% of the members have very little clue, including myself, about what’s being discussed on this topic. We truly are grateful for all your knowledge and help. I hope once you all have some time to play with and tweak things around, someone with come up with a step by step guide to install and setup these new procedures. ![]()
Fortunately with Troys guide and the folks here, there is not much that can not be figured out, it just may take a few tries and some asking of questions and reading, and more experimenting oh and Miki’s Java.
So it was pretty simple to get the details of the videos like Torrentio displays. Just set the Formatter Selection to Torrentio lol. Just tested and it worked for me.
Trying to use the Stremio Addon Manager. Can someone please help me find where the developer console is, to insert the code snippet? Thanks ![]()
Hi - i wanted to ask for duck streams addon to streamio do you need a paid debrid service? Thank you
Troy talks about that in the very first post here….
I installed the Duck Streams addon with no problems and it seems to be working well. I did realize that when I select a video to play that it starts playing with no sound. The fix is simple enough. I just go into the audio settings on the player and select the audio track. Is there a setting that will do this automatically, and not require me to do it manually? Thanks ![]()
This is answered by @miki and @itzme. It’s a good thing because I was pretty sure the answer is YES but I was not clear.
When I use Duck, I get a lot of 4K listings …however, everyone I have tried the image is washed out. I get a better picture with 1080. A setting issue? I think it’s the same with Comet.
I keep getting Setup Failed Wrong passphrase in Duck Strem
I have switched to VLC player and setup English as preferred language in the Settings portion. Same with subtitles if you need them. It seems to work better than MX player for me anyway on my Nvidia pro
However I seen VLC was not listed on the toolbox. So I downloaded it from the play store.
I have some Stremio add-ons previously installed, using my pc. Do I somehow need to remove these before trying to install this? The reason I ask is that I have tried installing this, and it says successful, but when I look at my add-ons, nothing has changed!
Often that can be resolved by closing the app, clearing the cache and then restarting your device. Please give that a try and let is know. If not then maybe start over with it and have Troy’s instructions open on one device while you do the setup on your streamer. That way you can pause instructions in case there is something you don’t quite understand.mI have installed this addon 5 times now, each time finding better settings than the way I had it done.
When trying to install Duck Streams on Stremio I keep getting this failure message
Wrong Passphrase
Any Idea what would be causing this
I have double and triple checked the information
Why an i getting error msg Wrong Paraphrase
Maybe you used wrong password for your Stremio account?
is this with in the duckstreams section or when it goes to Stremio?
I ask Duck, he says it is because of the wrong password or maybe the email address is not correct or maybe something was typed in wrong.
I finally got the duck streams to load. Updated my password and email address for Stremio
Thanks
