What would be the best way for the developer of these tools to get in contact with Troy? I shared the Troypoint guide in the discord I am in with Duck, to congratulate him. One of his replies was this.
I set up Stremio two months ago according to your excellent guidance. Now, after installing the Duck Streams addon, do you prefer this setup? If so, would you mind sharing detailed instructions, so that I can once again duplicate your setup? Thank you.
Reluctant Grace here, I FiNALLY played with Stremio Addon Manager and didn’t realize HOW FREAKIN’ EASY it is to reorder your Stremio. I thought it was some crap fest I had to add to Stremio and then FIGURE IT OUT!
Turns out @DaveZerf, it took me 60 seconds and I put DUCK #1, Torrenio PM #2, Comet #3, Pirate Bay #4, Media Fusion #5.
What do you all think of my sequence? I’ve never used DUCK but I put it first to try it out.
Please advise. Thanks.
Since you already have AIOstreams setup you don’t need Duck Streams. You may want to modify your addons though. I’m using Torbox (You need Torbox Debrid service to use this addon), Debrido (paid yearly subscription-$10) and Strem Thru Torz. Getting solid links. Got rid of Torrentio since they have a lot of issues. See my previous post in this thread how modify existing setup. Instead of selecting Duck Streams you select AioStreams addon.
This is how mine are set in order.
And in STRMR I only have Duck Streams in the scrapers section, I do not have the 2 supplied enabled.
I’m gonna keep it as is and watch a few things and see what happens. Thanks @DaveZerf and @dogg5150 for helping. It seems to take Torrentio FOREVER to load its add ons. It’s always last to load.
That is the nice thing is it is easy to make changes.
To confirm this is only if you have a paid Debrid service? If you don’t this wouldn’t apply to me?
I sent you a PM @DaveZerf and thank you for this.
Do you need to subscribe to a debrid service to use this Addon? Just checking thanks!
I like this Duck. I used the Manifest and incorporated it with bootstrapper just to see what would happen. It was easy to do and see no issues yet.
Do any of you have information on the links as far as seeing anything other than just like 4k?
I’m used to seeing the language and subtitles type stuff like Torrentio does.
I have a request. Anyone who has added the Duck Streams to STRMR and has the time, could you please PM me exact instructions on how you did it. I am missing or not understanding a step somewhere. Thanks in advance.
I don’t think you “have” to have a debrid service to use this but it sure helps with quality sources. @DaveZerf and @dogg5150 are far more knowledgeable regarding these addons. I am just starting to dig deeper into them and it can be daunting so it’s a bonus that the Insider has members like the ones I mentioned, who are willing to share their knowledge, sorry if I left someone out.
I believe this is the section that provides what you see after the scraper does its job. And yes, you don’t see all the information that Torrentio shows. I haven’t sat down to figure this out yet.
that uses your debrid service/services….from Troy’s description ![]()
Tx for the clarification and happy Sunday to you and yours @itzme . Be well.
no probz @Miki , and you be the one staying well, it’s sleety right now but our temps might reach 50F later today/tonight…. its a literal heat wave….

This is the screen I was looking for in Troys Guide, I know when I set it up a few weeks ago to get here I thought I needed to use Advanced setting.
I may need to go back through it and see what all he has changed in it. I usually just click the configure button in Stremio and it takes me back to where I need to be to get going to update anything. Then I could get the URL to ass to STRMR or any of the others that use Stremio add ons and allow addition of custom scrapers.
Yeah I added Duck Streams to Stremio right before getting ready to sit down and watch a movie, so when I got to this setting I just accepted the default config and moved along. Its going to take a little playing around with to get it right.
So far I’ve redone the Stremio addon 4 times and today will be #5. The advance settings are very confusing but I’m learning and that’s what I enjoy. So brew another mug of java, grab a bite to eat and have at er. Now I know, tx to @DaveZerf that I need to copy the manifest URL when done my setup, and put that in the scraper line in the STRMR set up to add Duck Streams as a scraper. Woo hooo. Progress.
