How to Install Cinema HQ - All-in-One Media App (Fire TV/Android)

No option to add realdebrid account.

Also version 7.0

I downloaded this app on my Android tablet and added TB. To my surprise, it brought in Comet/TB, Torrentio/TB and anything else I had TB attached. Lots of great streams.

Yet @Mslea makes a valid point about sharing bandwidth!

Wow so version 6.9 was released yesterday (6/29) and now version 7 is already here lol. They are moving fast!

Wonder if version 7 removed request to share user’s bandwith.

Is this the correct area to ask about changing the Downloads path? I want to Download to a USB thumbdrive on my Gen 3 Fire Cube. It resides at /storage/XXXX-XXXX. On other apps there is the .. (double periods) option to backup a level, but not in CinemaHQ. The default is /storage/emulated/0, with no way (I have figured out) to backup two levels. Please help, or direct me to where I need to go for help.

Hi there - If you are using a Gen 3 Fire TV Cube my first question is why do you need external storage with a USB drive? We do have a Fire TV storage tutorial but it’s a few years old - How to Expand Internal Storage on Firestick & Fire TV Cube (2022)

I never noticed anything to do with bandwidth…were did this show up?

I think they have removed or disabled it until some of the problems they are having with it are fixed.

I am hoping to use this app as my backup plan, parents are not liking stremio so if all goes good this will be their main go to.:crossed_fingers:

Hi @Deedee23

I am now using Streamflix and beginning to really like it. Its pretty much search, click and play. Don’t need a debrid service either. Try it out and see if your parents like it.

That’s what my parents are using, I use it to from time to time. I love having options though.

I followed the guide and downloaded the Cinema HQ and had an update pop up to 7.0. Added the Torbox and Trakt.tv as well since it tracks which movies I watch. One thing I wanted to share not sure if it has happened to anyone. Once in a while my icon disappears and I have to re-add it again which just does an update. I few days ago I had a pop up of an update to 7.1 but it won’t update to the 7.1. Had to select not to ask me again.

I had not thought of moving the app (CinemaHQ) to the USB thumb drive. It was running on the Cube. I had the USB thumb drive formatted for External Storage. I reformatted it for Internal Storage. I was then able to load CinemaHQ on to the USB thumb drive. Previously (with the USB thumb drive formatted as External Storage) in X-plore, the USB thumb drive showed up as an entry & it displayed what files & how full it was. Now there’s nothing there indicating 32GB of storage.
