It is a good concept for an addon. Ultimate ease of use without choice paralysis. But I saw this particular issue and it is still open and not addressed as of yet: Warning: the addon continues to use torrents even after a debrid service is configured · Issue #13 · keypop3750/AutoStream · GitHub
That could get a lot of users into trouble with their ISP depending on local copyright laws.

I would suggest that a VPN is definitely necessary with this add-on.

I only do Stremio stuff if @Miki does it too. Miki, is this something you use? He’s the ultimate Stremio vetter.

Good day GW. I, in my old age, have become very cautious. Before installing anything I start to research on exactly what it is I am installing. In this case it turns out that there is a bug. So with an abundance of caution I would not install this but rather wait for an update. However as you know, I never connect to the Internet without a VPN, so I suspect I would be safe in that case. Troy always points out, that if an addon or source uses torrents you should consider the use of a VPN to be anonymous, a policy I fully embrace.

If this actually works and has bugs fixed, Stremio may get used her more. The GF always had issues trying to pick the stream and then probably my fault but she would end up with a French or Russian stream and have to go find another. She just quit using it. I found other services for her that are click and play. I like Weyd and Debrid Stream, and she has used both of them when she comes home and I have one open watching something.

I have setup premiumize key and have installed auto stream in stremio, but when I use the auto stream it takes a long time and at the end it finds no links either 1080 or 4k and I get the error_code message on the screen

Is it possible to have both real debris and preimumize links in stremio? The bootstrapper way deletes the previous.

Yes, You can do it several ways. All 3 together in one Torrentio addon, or all 3 in seperate Torrentio add-ons.

Why do my Stemio shut off after a few minutes? Will this stop the stopping/shut offs.

Tried to install it with both Real Debrid and Premiumize. Hit install and nothing happened–no open Stremio. Then opened Stremio and with it open tried again with both–added the API code and answered all the others. Still nothing opened. I used your tutorial. Thanks

Morning all, I installed this as per Troypoint guide, it loads 4K and 1080, but when I select one to play, it just site there trying to load, I let it try for 10 min and still will not load. Any suggestions on what is wrong?

I tried to install autostream, and before I come off as condescending, I’m only elaborating to insure that you know I follow all directions Troy sends TO THE LETTER, I tried multiple times and even used my smart phone to install even though this is supposed to be installed via PC. Not that I’ve said that, I have gotten as far as clicking on install to Stremio and nothing happens. I selected my provider (Torbox), video size limit, language, inputted my API multiple times, double checking the number each time, selected my blacklist items, scrolled up to “install to Stremio" and nothing happens. I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s not Torbox compatible? That’s the deal. I’m not desperate, I’ve been running numerous programs on my firestick adapted through Troypoint and they work flawlessly, so I’m good with my current set up, I’m just always looking for updates and ways to improve and protect my set up. Thank you Troy for all you do for us!
