I have been trying to install Seren on Kodi following the video instructions. For some reason it won’t install the scrapers.Seren is in my add-ons, but it won’t bring up any links.

Me too! I installed Seren about 6 months ago on a different Fire device and it works fine. I tried again on my new ONN Box last week and the scrapers flat out will not install no matter how many times I try (probably 10 times) using slightly variations of the URL. No dice. I installed POV instead and gave up. I like Fenlight better than Seren these days anyway but was just setting up Seren on the new box as an option.

It can be frustrating sometimes when things won’t work! I think I will just give up on Seren and try something else like you did.

I use Fenlight AM most (like 99% of the time), then Umbrella, Seren & Homelander. I like Seren and Homelander because I THINK with different scrapers, it gives me alternatives if one add on has no links. Fenlight is cool because it uses large Thumbnails on the Movies and Series categories and my “visual” brain recognizes the thumbnail from some other source where I may have seen a recommendation.

Hi, I loaded Umbrella and Seren on my Onn 4K pro and I can’t seem to get Seren to play my links. Tried Deadpool from popular list first and this popped up automatically after starting engines screen.
Then I tried Gaurdians of the Galaxy and several more Popular Movie choices but they all showed lots of links found but none playable and I would get the playback failed window shown here. Is there a fix, something I missed maybe. I have been doing this for a few years, I’m no expert but I can usually follow Troy’s videos and install apps and stuff with no problems. Also I set it up to choose source and went back through setup and checked and that was still set but I don’t get the chance to choose link before this screen comes up.
If I need to reload Seren how do I go about deleting it from Kodi and reloading it?

Let me preface this by saying I don’t know anything. I tried loading Seren a week or two back as noted but could not get the scrapers to install.
Did you successfully install the scraper package?
Yes, everything seemed to install correctly, installed notifications popped up and real debrid authorized successfuly. I uninstalled the app but I haven’t tried to reinstall yet. I will post when I do.
I ended up installing The Crew, easier install and works great. I mainly use Umbrella but I wanted to have an app with a different scraper. Had trouble with Seren a year ago when I tried to load it so I figured I’d try Crew. Good luck
I tried it again yesterday with the bbviking URL and it gave me an error when I tried to install Seren that it was missing some files and Seren wouldn’t even install.
Last time I tried it, I got Seren installed but the scraper package wouldn’t install.
I have it installed on 2 other Fire TV Cubes but honestly, Fenlight is WAY BETTER anyway so I’ve given up Seren for now. POV is my second favorite.
I tried The Crew but on my devices, it’s SO SLOW. It seems to take forever to scrape the links compared to anything else I use. Fenlight and POV are super fast.

I agree, Fen lite is great, I have it on my Firestick, I put Umbrella on my Onn 4K pro when loading it for the first time because Troy had it first on the list and it uses coco scraper same as Fen. Where do you get POV, unlinked? Is that another on demand app? Thanx Have a great day
It’s a Kodi add on, In the settings when you add your debrid and/or Trakt info, I toggle ON both Comet and Media Fusion in the sources.

I installed Seren on my ONN Box (encouraged by Troy’s video) and FINALLY, it worked perfectly. I did have to shut off Surf Shark when I installed the scraper package because is was getting blocked. Try Seren again, it’s worth it to add to your dependable add ons.

Excellent, Papa. I’m gonna do this later. 5 links per day for the FREE version is a good start. I’ve seen “Orion” in the settings for Homelander add on too but not sure if it’s the same thing.

I created the Orion account and added to Seren. The Orion Add on within Kodi did not have the Seren or Elementum options so I set it up within the Seren add on.
I tested it in Seren and got an “Orion Links Found” message so it must work, I looked at the links but NONE actually say Orion. It’s link overkill any as Seren already pulls tons.
I also set it up in Stremio but have not fiddled with on my TV. Thanks.
