Hmmm. Personally I think you were right on. Don’t ever be afraid to voice your opinion or give sage advice like using a vpn. You just never know what new user happens upon your advice and learns from it. You may just help out regardless of what nay sayers are out there.

I recently renewed my 6 month subscription for RealDebrid so now im in a quandry. Is it possible to cancel it do you know without losing the money or do i cancel anyway and accept the loss as it is probably a lot less than any fine could be?
Fine? Who’s going to fine you? It takes years to build a legal watertight case. I’m sure as you are just one person and aren’t pirating thousands upon thousands of dollars of material, you’ll be just fine. Use a VPN at all times.
You are probably correct, its not like I’m sharing the files, i watch old series, then move on to the next episode.
I have a secured port option chosen in the configuration options and log on to my account once a week or so and clear anything that is shown. I know it says download, but I never download anything ever.
I only go on the website to renew. I know i should go on there more often and delete the links ive generated but its not like you can bulk delete them as I remember. They have to be deleted one by one. 
Not so. Top right, on the site, on your account, is a red X “delete all”.

Muchas gracias, i just went on my laptop and deleted all my links. Can i do similar with my devices? My list dates back to 2020?
Wow. Lol. Not sure on devices. A 3yr list. That must be a record. 
First subscribed to RealDebrid in Jan 2020. I think I’d have gone crazy during Covid if I didnt have it.

I’ve been using Real Debrid for over a year, and I can’t believe the difference! Others have said the number of links just skyrockets. It is a fantastic add-on. Real Debrid, and Surf Shark are pretty much the only things I pay for with my setup and it sure beats paying for Netflix, and/or Prime and I wouldn’t want to do this without Troypoint. Thanks so much!

Personally, I wouldn’t even consider it. The last thing I want is to have a bunch of law enforcement officers knocking at my door first thing in the morning. Not that I would do anything illegal mind you… but with all the little rules and regulations it’s just easier to get the great deals by Surf Shark and sleep a little easier to sleep at night.
Well. For the longest time, I thought to myself… I am doing ALL of this to save money, there is no way I will spend money on anything else. But then my wife and I started getting into an old series and it kept loading, loading and loading. I would have to keep going from app to app to try to stop the loading. I even tried several VPNs to see if that was the problem. I knew it wasn’t my Internet. So the more and more I researched, I thought “what the heck, I can try it for 2 weeks…”. Just to see what everyone saw in it. I really did not expect anything. Just like everyone loves Kodi and I dislike it a lot because I tinkered with it and nothing seemed to help. The only one that came close to me liking was Fen. I now use Stremio for everything (very happy with it).
Wow, every show or movie we watched never loaded once (only when you first start your media of course) I was amazed, and so was my wife, so we went longer and longer. And we can’t live without it now. I even download some of the movies for my 6 year old to have instantly (even if we lose Internet in a sudden storm). Just so easy.
