I previous used IPTVeditor and m3u4u. I have found Gridstreamr much easier and is my go to app for iptv channel management and cleanup. I have 7 iptv playlists and continue to test to find the best of the best. Their shared collections let me easily reduce my channels from 10’s of thousands to a 500 favorites smart collection across multiple playlists. Gridstreamr is a great product. I created shareable groups of channels that can use across multiple devices for family and friends. Using their Al features can match channels to their 50,000 database of EPG channels so do not have be upset that the EPG did not update. I do not have to worry about finding EPGS that work with my playlist provider.
Their catch-up replay when available by playlist providers allows easy rewind of live channels. If catch-up is not available their record feature works great for live tv, movie and series download similar to Netflix.
In the past three years I have used, tested and provided enhancements suggestions to the most popular iptv players like tivimate, Televizo, Sparkle TV, Wave and several others.
Gridstreamr created an app with features that blows away any other iptv app on the market today. The quality of the product and the features like EPG management, DVR, cloud control, multiple Xstream management is like no other.
The ability to manage multiple devices easily and share playlists with family and friends and restream to watch the same program with family and friends is incredible.
With restream if you have one connection you can share that connection with family and friends to watch the same live channel at the same time.
Their licensing is an annual fee for unlimited devices and cloud sharing across all devices. You add a service once and that’s it. Create a xstreams link of a subset of your channels and VOD from all your playlists to share with family and friends. They can even use their own player.
Additional they added a global search for all iptv playlists. For example I created all new movies for 2026 in English only across all playlists. Also I created a collection of new series for 2026 in usa, and UK. You can refresh without doing a new search
This is definitely my go to iptv player and management system app.
