Gridstreamr iptv player

I have been using Gridstreamr TV and Gridstreamr mobile for the last month and this has become my go to IPTV player. This app goes well beyond anything from the major players that are available. The smart collections feature allows you to create sharable links of channels, movies, and shows for family and friends. The EPG matching abilities eliminate the worry of knowing what is on next. The catchup when available on a playlist works very well. The syncing across devices is top quality and no five device limits. The developer are very responsive for suggestions. They are on discord. If you have tried let me know what you think.

if a lifetime payment was an option, i would try out the 7 day free trial, but without that option, sorry but not even worth the time for me…

Premium Features & Pricing

  • 7-Day Free Trial: Available for all premium features with no credit card required.

You have the wrong player. The name of the product is Gridstreamr. The price is $14.95 per year. Not sure where you got your information.

This appears to be a mix between an editor and player. It mentions it “works with Tivimate”, so that is a bit confusing. I’ll have to test out the free version when I get a chance.

I’m confused. Gridstreamr TV? Is this a service or an IPTV player as suggested in the title? If it is an IPTV player, that has no content, do you have a link where we can explore it’s features?

This must be it.

@Gewcmr , I stand corrected :person_facepalming:, but still no lifetime purchase…

$15 per year is a pretty good deal if it works as it’s ad indicates. Gridstreamr looks like it might even be marginally better than Tivimate.

It is only a player but you can setup these smart collections of channels like local station, sports, 2026 movies etc from any number of iptv playlist mixing channels from each provider. Then you can create sharable smart collections with m3u links for family and friends.

I already do that in Tivimate. I have 6 playlists but have my favourite channels organized into specific categories, Sports, News, Faves for example. I rarely go into my playlists unless there is a special event I am looking for. Channels I organize in the order I want and I have groups removed in each playlist that I don’t want or use, and also have those groups arranged in the order I want for quicker searching. I have added EPGs and have them enabled in my playlists for channel information. I have backup easily shown, I have my channel display set to my colour choices as well as display choices. I have preview set as well as all sorts of other options I find useful. I know how to get and use multi screen. In short, my lifetime TiVimate that I paid $32 for 5 years ago has never failed me. I do like the cloud sync but don’t have anyone to share it with and prefer to teach others how to use their own apps. Less headaches for me. I also only use my Buzz P6L for streaming, never my tab or phone, to small for my liking. I look forward to reading the insiders positive reviews, hopefully few negative ones. I also forgot to mention I never use my TiViMate for VOD. I use Stremio and Nuvio for those as they’re designed for that sort of thing. Others use Kodi for the huge amount of configuration options as well. Have a great week and STREAM ON !!!

Watch out. Many not all iptv services will ban you if you share your services with those sharable links.

Oh damn, I forgot about that. Excellent point @hotwheels and thanks for bringing that point up. Have a great week.

When I started using IPTV I started with Tivimate. It is a good product..I then tested all the major players, Sparkle, Televizo, Wave, etc. I have six playlist providers that I use and continue testing.

A problem with many providers is the EPG.. I tried adding additional EPGs for each playlist and services that allow you to merge etc. It is very inconsistent. When recently found Gridstreamr and it’s approach to managing playlists and it’s common data base of 50000 channels oof EPGs let’s you match and control and forget it.

The catch-up feature in Gridstreamr which is the best available. I use it all the time to go back. I do use Sparkle for my recordings for smb access from all my 8 Onn boxes.

I have a jellyfin server to access my own movies and music. Gridstreamr handles the UI extremely well and provides easy access.

I manage my family tech and using Gridstreamr has made my process so much easier. I will continue to test existing apps as new features are added and other products. There are so many products, it is difficult to keep up. Gridstreamr uses AI to improve metadata on all content.

This forum provides great feedback and your input will help all of us.

I provided feedback to the developers on Discord and they are very responsive to my suggestions. They continue to want more feedback on how they can improve their product.

They are using AI to match metadata and have integrations with TMDB and Trakt. They recently added multiscreen support from multiple playlists and let you know if you are exceeding your concurrent user licensing.

To add another TV you only need to download the app for android or ios and scan the bar code and all smart collections are available on the device. On one license for Gridstreamr you can use on 20 TVs.

I am testing on multiple Onn boxes, 4k pro and plus for TV, iPad tablet and Pixel Fold 2 and Apple iPhone. Thanks for your feedback.

They added Jellyfin support within the app. I added my collection to the app for easy access and it works great. The UI works very well.

They have now added a widget which I can easily access my favorite channels

Updated info.

I previous used IPTVeditor and m3u4u. I have found Gridstreamr much easier and is my go to app for iptv channel management and cleanup. I have 7 iptv playlists and continue to test to find the best of the best. Their shared collections let me easily reduce my channels from 10’s of thousands to a 500 favorites smart collection across multiple playlists. Gridstreamr is a great product. I created shareable groups of channels that can use across multiple devices for family and friends. Using their Al features can match channels to their 50,000 database of EPG channels so do not have be upset that the EPG did not update. I do not have to worry about finding EPGS that work with my playlist provider.

Their catch-up replay when available by playlist providers allows easy rewind of live channels. If catch-up is not available their record feature works great for live tv, movie and series download similar to Netflix.

In the past three years I have used, tested and provided enhancements suggestions to the most popular iptv players like tivimate, Televizo, Sparkle TV, Wave and several others.

Gridstreamr created an app with features that blows away any other iptv app on the market today. The quality of the product and the features like EPG management, DVR, cloud control, multiple Xstream management is like no other.

The ability to manage multiple devices easily and share playlists with family and friends and restream to watch the same program with family and friends is incredible.

With restream if you have one connection you can share that connection with family and friends to watch the same live channel at the same time.

Their licensing is an annual fee of only $15 for unlimited devices and cloud sharing across all devices. You add a service once and that’s it. Create a xstreams link of a subset of your channels and VOD from all your playlists to share with family and friends. They can even use their own player.

This is definitely my go to iptv player and management system app.

DO I install this as an addon to Stremio, or stand alone? Is there an installation video to install on an ONN 4K Pro?

@Gewcmr

I watched the two short Gridstreamr YT tutorials. Let me state what I think that I understand. Please correct me where I’m wrong.

The user installs Gridstreamr on an Android or iPhone, if he wants to use it for free without having to go through a refund process. You can try on a Android TV or stock Android box, but you have to pay upfront.

The device that has Gridstreamr installed is where the user installs and edits one or more playlists on that ‘central’ device (similar in a sense to setting up Stremio).

Gridstreamr generates a new Xtreme code that refers to a Gridstreamr playlist that consists of the channels and categories that are selected from the playlist(s) that are installed on the central device.

You just download from Google Play store. There is a mobile and a tv version. Like I said it is $15 per year for use on tv and mobile and that is for unlimited devices. I have it loaded on my over 15 Onn boxes, Samsung tablets, and ipads. I created these smart collections that you can share the xstreams with anyone and they can use on other players like tivimate, sparkle, Televizo, etc.

And know it is not an addon to streamio. It is an xstream for any player.

When you download the tv app you can get a trial.

You are correct. Each smart collection has its own share xstream link to use in other players if you desire. The nice thing about global smart collections is you can refresh and it will delete any duplicates from multiple playlists and add any new content based on your selection criteria.

Any live channels that you included in sc will have updated EPG.

I have made many suggestions to the developer and he has been very receptive to making improvements.
