Just logged into my Z11 Pro and waiting were two updates. Got them installed and everythings rocking strong as per usual for this mighty streamer. I tell ya, this things (still) a BEAST.

Great box if they can ever figure out how to clear the notifications! I have well over 120 just sitting there!
I just mark em all as read, and move on.

Not enough to piddle with, if it gets to say a coupla million or so, then yeah.
There is probably a way (short of reformatting) to clear them but I havent delved into it. Just enjoy the power that this killer piece of kit provides and STREAM ON!

A couple of things for me.
I’m sure these boxes are great.
First until these boxes are faster than my Cube 2, it’s a waste of time. Why go backwards?
Second, until these boxes upgrade to Bluetooth remotes, it’s a waste of time. I hate 2 remotes, one for tv and one for streaming device.

The Formuler remote turns my TV on just fine, as a matter of fact it has a dedicated TV power button! I also think theres a bluetooth remote too if one wishes to obtain it, but mine is not, but works awesome. Im not understanding how you compare this box going backwards to a cube? I have both on the same TV in two seperate rooms, and frankly, the Formuler blows the Cube away as far as speed and functionality. I still like the cube (as a backup) but LOVE the X11 Pro!

The top of the range box, Z11 pro are sold with option for either remote at the moment but going forward will ship with BT remote.
Faster box? The reason to get Formuler device is MYTVOnline app for IPTV. Also note these devices are NOT certified by Netflix and will not have their official app

“Technically” the Cube 2nd gen is considered much faster than the bench speed of the Z11 Pro Max cpu. However, I understand what you mean, visually and functionality-wise, the Formuler is a great box and likely does appear and feel just as fast if not faster. The main problem with the Cube is the obvious, it is made by Amazon. They want nothing to do with our kind of cordcutting, and have effectively started to lock up those freedoms a little in the latest gen devices, but to a new level with their new and upcoming OS.

With the Shield Pro bluetooth remote is a non starter as there are settings that allow you to set the remote to IR for the TV. So turn the Shield on and TV as well as Sound system all fire up together and Shield loads to my TiViMate EPG. Certainly should be a similar power option under the remote settings on the Z11
