Those are both top line products. I would love a 3rd gen cube, but I wouldnā€™t turn down a Shield Pro, or a formuler. I think either one would give you years of fun.

I love the Pro Max as I have more than one of them, & the MOL3 app is absolutely the best of all the apps available to load playlists. After I bought my last one though, and unknowingly got device lock bricked out of it because I was connected to an out of country VPN at the time, then tech support telling me to contact seller when they have ZERO knowledge of how to fix it I am having huge negative second thoughts about Formulerā€™s devices. So CROOKED of them to do people like this with support ignoring the issue not telling me how to fix it! BUYER BEWARE!!!

Sadly many devices have to be setup in the region it is sold.
There have been issues with Formuler devices brought in the US and setup in Europe displaying the following

You will have to return the locked box for replacement - If you brought this from official seller, contact them and they will contact Formuler to fix issue - see post 8 in link

My new box is designated for use in the USA. Due to me having my VPN on an out of country location it bricked my device falsely seeing it as it was not in the country when indeed it was. The biggest problem is Formuler support SUCKS & refuses to help me unlock it. Formuler SCAMS people telling them that the seller has to deal with this when in reality NO seller has the ability to unlock the device once this happens! It is Formulerā€™s support that IS responsible to FIX this problem yet they ignore us all. They are happy to brick customers devices to sell more of them apparently! There is NO other explination for them screwing us consumers this way!!!

Guessing itā€™s part of the agreement Formuler has with official sellers.

If the seller you brought from has no direct contact with Formuler - return it for refund
