I did check on the wifeās Z11 and atmos is producing sound. It runs through a Samsung TV not an audio system. Hereās the audio setting on it, I canāt remember if I had to change it or not when I set this box up months ago 
Thatās exactly what mine is set on still not working, going on 4 days now and it just wonāt decode Atmos. Iāve tried everything I know searched forums changed inputs etc. My Firecube works great with all the same equipment and settings. Such a nice box I hate to return it but itās looking like I have to, itās not working well with my VPNās either, getting throttled down to 50 mbs on my gig network on wi-fi and Ethernet.

Thatās a real head scratcher, my wifeās is on WiFi and gets about 280 up and down with Express VPN and has no stability issues. The no audio is odd too, maybe it is a faulty box.

I agree possible faulty box, I just reconnected the cube and did a speed test getting 350+ and 80+ on the VPN (Surfshark)over 800+ off. The Atmos thing is really puzzling it just wouldnāt decode it. Going to return it tomorrow, sad I really had high hopes for this box.

I donāt believe Formuler has Dolby Atmos.
The box should still have sound - try installing VLC and use that to play the media from Kodi

Hi Mike thanks for the response, my Kodi settings are exactly the same as my Firecube which works fine with Atmos. I am getting sound just not Atmos. Iāve been thru multiple forums and websites and it seems Iām not the only one having this issue, the worst issue Iām having is box just wonāt work well with my VPNās. I have gig speed internet, the cube is getting over 350 mbs with the VPN on the Z11 about 50 on LAN and wi-fi which makes Kodi useless (just buffers).
I appreciate all the help but I think I have a defective box so Iām going to return it.

Have you activated Surround Sound on Z11 Pro along with Audio Passthrough? No atmos without the Surround Sound enabled apparently.
I have, spent 4 days on this, tried every setting imaginable. I didnāt even try the mytv3 because of the issues with Atmos and the VPN.
Iāve set up numerous android boxes never had the problems Iāve had here. Really wanted this box to replace my cube but it ran circles around the Z11 pro. Thatās why I think I got defective box, Iām sure the Z11pro is a better box if itās working correctly.
My Formuler Z11 Pro Max has Dolby Atmos. Itās one of the earliest released, have had for about two years now and love it! Hereās two shots of my screen, first is home screen and second is Advanced sound settings.

I just realized that you are talking about the Z11 Pro! Maybe you need the Formuler Z11 Pro Max. Iām really not that familiar with the Z11 Pro.
All Iāve ever owned are the Z10 Pro Max and the Z11 Pro Max. Having said that I canāt hardly wait for the Formuler Z12 Pro Max and no problem paying a little extra for the BT Remote. About four months ago got the BT Remote for the the Z11 Pro Max and love it. Also the new update is phenomenal! Now setting up IPTV services takes half of the time!
With the Z10 Pro Max your channel setup would appear in the order installed and you could not correct without starting all over again. The Z11 Pro Max is superior to the Z10.
Thanks for the reply, it was a Z11 Pro Max and the settings you posted were the exactly the same. Between the Atmos and VPN issues this box gave me fits, I loved everything else about it but it just wouldnāt do what it was supposed to. I may consider buying another one in the future.
The Formuler Z11 Pro Max can get a little temperamental at times, I must admit. But unplugging the power supply for 2 or 3 minutes will usually straighten it out. I use IPVanish and had very little problems ever!
Now for Dolby Atmos, thatās been a big pain in the butt! All kind of settings to set. I have an LG TV with sound bar My tv sound out settings at HDMI(HIGH DEFINITION MULTIMEDIA INTERFACE) ARC(Audio Return Channel) and Digital Sound Out set to auto. The sound bar set for surround sound with all the auto turn-ons set to on and yes itās a top firing Atmos sound bar. The biggest issue being that most streaming service donāt have the coding for Dolby Atmos. I get most Atmos on Stremio. 4k Blue Rays with Dolby Atmos are a great way to test your system. Also my sound bar will tell when Atmos is being decoded. I hope this can help at least in some wayā¦Good Luck and maybe somebody in this group is better aquatinted with Atmos. It took me over 6 months to figure it out and running. Not to mention an occasional hiccup that makes me pull a few of my last remaining hairs outā¦lol
Hi im setting up Pro max z11 right now . Im pushing the ok on remote to select english on the tv screen and the red light is on when clicking on ok. Nothing is happening so its not selecting the english to go the next step

Hi i figured it out. I plugged in remote extension and i didnāt need it. I thought you needed it for the box to work
With IR remote - you need to point at the device.
The IR remote extension is for when you want to hide your device behind your tv - so with the extension connected, you need to point remote to the extension
With a BT remote you do not need to point at the paired device
Not sure what you are referring to but to bring up the guide just push the guide button and all channels with info appear.
