Fire stick restarting it self

I have an Amazon fire stick 4k, and have just purchased an adapter so I can use ethernet, because Wi-Fi doesn’t work well with mine. My issue being since connecting it up and switching it on, it keeps restarting its self, and is impossible to watch.

9 times out of 10 that’s a power issue. If it’s a powered hub then make sure the power out is sufficient to run the stick. Also check that the cables are good. I had a Smays powered hub and my Max started cycling. A real pain. I replaced the power cable to it and problem solved. I have had about a dozen power bricks go bad. Do not use TV USB for power.

Do not use TV USB for power.

This is a big one. Seems super convenient to not have to take up another outlet for the Firestick, but we constantly hear about the issues caused from trying to run off of the TV’s USB power.
