Downloaded and installed Easy Fire Tools v1.1.6 on my Pixel 6 Pro. Clicking on Scan results in no devices found. I’ve confirmed that fire stick and phone are both on the same network and both have IPs in the same range.
No VPNs are running.
Why is Easy Fire Tools not detecting the Firestick?
Doesn’t easy Fire Tolls depend on ADB which has been disabled by a FireOS Update? Just guessing here.
Same question anybody figured it out yet I too have same prob. Firetv blocking boot app and I wan’t to block it. I set up debloat but it’s’ still doing it
I gave you the answer. ADB has been disabled on the FiireOS so Easy Fire Tools will no longer function properly. Same goes for any app that needs the ADB to function on the Fire OS.
If customizing your streaming devices is important to you like it is for a lot of us, Amazon devices should be at the bottom of your wishlist. In addition, the future of sideloading/customization in Amazon sticks looks even worse than current gen as they start to implement a new, even more locked down OS.
I totally agree but the wifey bought a firetv for my office and I had it, it didn’t cost me anything extra and I was trying to get the absolute most out of it since it was on my wall. LOL! We have a Mecool in the bedroom and Buzztv in the living room… and I totally agree those are much better devices hands down! Thanks for reaching out to me!!
