Not sure where you bank but the bank I use works with ExpressVPN as long as it’s somewhere in Canada.
If you reread my post it states a “Canadian” bank. But I’m not naming it in open forum. It is one of the top 3. Any attempt to do online banking with an active VPN results in a blocked attempt with a notice to connect without a VPN. Security is done via 2 part authentication.
Its not not my bank. Its online stores I do online shopping.
I just stick with Amazon now. Mayfair lies like a rug about their prices so I stopped trying them, and Walmart wants a sub. But none have stopped me from from using a VPN so far.
My bofa won’t let me log on if I got a VPN. However because I have U-verse and two lines coming to my house AT&t my internet acts like it is coming out of up north 60 miles from where I live.
Currently IPVanish set to Wiseguard. I should pay around the other protocols. But, not a big deal. Its trusted sites I purchase from regularly.
Takes a while to build a trusted site list. You’re lucky. I’ve not had much luck with on line shopping due to lack of honesty from the supplier. Luckily I can still use my VPN from the ones I do use.
It just a couple stores, like Macys and TJMaxx. More sites have begun to block access when using vpn. If its a new site and they block me. I just don’t visit they site and they miss a possible sale. I use use my paypal account for new sites. I don’t usually buy from too many unknown merchants. I have bookmarked my regular sites that I’ve been visiting for years. Noway to get around them selling your info, when you buy online.
I’ve noticed that Surfshark is blocked more by websites than IPvanish. I have both.
Tried different locations. Surfshark still blocked.
So does that mean Surfshark is better cause it is blocked? Or IP vanish better cause it can get through or worse cause they let it get through
My bank has blocked me before for using a vpn, but I changed locations on my vpn and finally found one the bank doesn’t block.Weird I know.
Same here. If I use the Charlotte NC server, several sites block me but if I use the Ashburn VA server, those same sites don’t.
Hi Kicker543,
Not sure, question is above my knowlegde base.
I was just trying to access Little Caesars pizza website and was denied access due to use of VPN. This is the error message I received.
That’s probably a good thing because their Pizza Sucks
The article should spur some food for thought. I’m remaining neutral as far as my opinion. You could also compare using a VPN this way. Which is safer, your secret that you’ve shared with 1 person? Or your secret that you’ve shared with with 2 people? A house that has 1 door open or a house that has 2 doors open? The debate rages on.
IKR, but its cheap for feeding lots of people.
I was talking with SurfShark and they wrote me emails saying they to not cover iptv etc.
Here is a screenshot of part of email.
Hello, are you 100% sure that your IPTV service allows for VPNs? Some don’t. I have four IPTV subs and all of them work perfectly fine with Surfshark.
May be true but that looks like a typical, brain-dead, customer service script!
I believe that is just some generic disclaimer to protect themselves. I have an SS sub and I have used them when viewing any of my IPTV services. Now, with that being said. Some iptv services have their own vpn activated and might cause a conflict, but not certain.
