Diggz AIO Ver 1.2 Crash/problems

I have a FireStick 4K Max, Fire OS 7.6.7/1 with a San Disk 128GB 3.0 USB drive installed and running Kodi 21.0.

I tried to update to Diggz Xenon 1.2, when doing so it failed to upload a dependency. Now, I am stuck on the "Setuyp Wizard: Choose Layout Style page. Regardless of the style I choose it fails to load the dependency. The bigger problem is that I cannot exit the Wizard. I can go to “Home” and restart Kodi but it always takes me back to the Wizard. It seems I locked in a closed loop.

I suppose I can uninstall Kodi and reinstall it, which may eliminate the problem but I would rather not go through that hassle if anyone has experienced this issue and found a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like you have a real old Xenon.

The NEW AIO 1.2 build setup is a little slow on the Setup Wizard page.

I used my Nvidia shield tv pro and needed to restart my kodi twice i believe before the Xenon Plus skin was loaded.

I think after you select the “skin” it still needs to download more data (not 100% sure) after its selected.

There should be a screen saying its downloading addon. After the screen is complete you select “Apply skin” and it will give you a list of the skins youve downloaded.

Its a really new set up and i am trying to figure out as well.

If you feel like you are stuck and cant go forward id suggest a fresh install. Either clear the data or delete and reinstall kodi 21.

Hey @Miki, there is new Diggz AIO (ALL IN ONE) Version 1.2 available now.

@harleydriver called it Xenon 1.2 which was incorrect but i knew when was meant.

The new build has all the Diggz builds available to use as a “Skin” so you could swap out say Xenon Plus for Burst or Xenon Free with a click of a button.

You may see other questions about this in the future as it is only a few weeks since 1.1 came out.

If its ok, can you rename the post Diggz AIO 1.2 so others can ask questions here as well.

Thanks.

Thank you very much for the clarification my friend. Most helpful. Now I’ll know for the future. Appreciate all the help and knowledge I can get. Be well @JPM69 and have a great weekend. It’s a long weekend for most of us here in Canukistan.

@harleydriver

I renamed the post to better fit the issue.

I am going to try to load 1.2 on my Onn pro and see how it goes.

Well it was a little slow loading up the AIO build and the Plus skin on the Onn Pro but eventually it all loaded. Less than 5 mins.

I suggest clearing your cache. This might help instead of clearing data or deleting kodi.

After you DL AIO let it update addons in the background. Then choose your skin and wait a few mins. Then select Apply Skin and the menu should pop up with Plus as an option. If nothing happens Force stop kodi and reopen.

I think it really just needs some time to load after the initial install, especially with older/slower devices.

Good luck.

I just tested in the Onn 4K (non pro) and it went fine. This device is probably same as or less powerful than your FS 4k max.

After the inital set up it will probably close by itself. Mine always seem to do this.

Reopen and wait for the skin options to have a pink edge.

Select the skin and yes to dl.

After window disappears select Apply Skin. You should have the skin as an option.

I maybe be repeating myself but it seems to be working much better now. You may have been caught up in a back log with others trying to DL.

Me clearing my Firestick cache…

Everyone, thank you all for your advice and feedback it is much appreciated. The one thing no one has commented on is the FAILURE TO LOAD DEPENDENCIES, which I believe is what is causing the install to “crash”. Has anyone had this issue? I look forward to your thoughts. Thank you

can be caused by apps or kodi not being the latest version

Have you tried to reload the build?

I installed 3 times without the error message on 3 different devices. I just dont have a FS to test on.

Okay so

I installed new aio no issues on firestick ( it just force closes alot due to memory maybe)

I installed on android device no issues

I tried on xbox one the old brick

And run into the same issues as other where it installs everything but then the xeonon mid power dependency it fails then you try again and its just stuck and can never get it past the skin page

I reinstalled everything and same issues

Also trying to reinstall the download is taking longer than usual now

So your issue is installing on the Xbox only? I have no idea about the devices capability.

Diggz always recommends trying to install during “off hours” for faster speeds. Busier times mean slower DL speed.

The best I can say for the xbox issue is to give the build time to fully load. Since you are experiencing slow speeds it may take time to get the skin you want.

And Welcome to TP!

welcome

Yes agree had to re install. Many times plus gettiing the free Diggz burst build proved a little tricky keep on freezing or changing to a RD build but eventually got it…
